Nice game! Nice theme and hope to see how you evolve the game further

Games fit the theme, although I would say I found it more tedious than fun, if I'my honest. It is original on the 'spread' side of the theme, you didn't go for the fire setting, although it's a bit the same thing .

Presentation is good, it a nice simple pixel art. The music is a fit and sfx are well used. Didn't find any bug, so overall good job on execution !

I enjoyed my time playing the game. I didn't have to guess what was the link to the theme, and I personally prefer games where you don't shoot stuff. 1200 score points for me on second try :)

The art is very readable which is always a plus.  Also, you included arrow controls redudant with WASD, and not having a wasd keyboard this is a really important good point for me.

It has a good aesthetic, and I like the animations of both the environment and the character. I feel like the idea fits the theme, but a few changes in the spawn rate would have made it get a little crazier after some time. Also, as some others have suggested, the controls could have improved by letting move in diagonal and let cut at the same time you move.

Simple but fun game, and the good art serves it well. Agree with the other feedback.Maybe lose if you let the weeds get too out of control .

A simple idea but you've obviously taken the time to add more features and give it a really good look! And i'm glad someone else had the idea for an out of control garden as well!

Game is really fun, wouldve liked if i could move in 2 axis at once, but other than that its a solid game that entertains for a while

Very simple and fun game, I really like the presentation and it feels really good to play! I would have liked diagonal movement though, that would have made it feel a lot better. Still a really nice concept and its well executed. Great work here!

Fun little game. I would have liked to be able to move diagonal. Other then that you could make it more caotic by adding more tasks to do. (water flowers, scare off birds, etc.) But the base concept is really fun

It's really impressive that you got a nice menu and how-to-play screen in here. I like the game too, although I found it really awkward that you can't move diagonally. The concept is nice and simple, quite well executed, and it fits the theme well. Good job!

Real good pixel art, the animations are so good! I liked the idea too! I don't know if its a problem in the browser version but I can't move diagonally, and a little "juice" would be fun too. Really great game! Congratulations!

You got some great feedback already, a couple points I didn't see:

• A more straight-forward guide (the fewer words the better!)
• Some more juice, like playing a "feels bad" sound when you cut a tulip.

I really love how the weeds move, they're cute :3

I personally think it would be better if you could engage player with more trade-offs. I mean I just had to cut the nearest weed, no matter the other weeds' situation especially when they get out of control. (Yeah they give scores based on how fast you cut them but I think that's not enough)

Pretty sweet game, my biggest complaint is the movement. It feels pretty undercooked and the game loses a lot of satisfaction on it. Not being able to move vertically while moving horizontally is the main issue IMO. But overall, it's pretty satisfying and enjoyable.

The game feels nice and plays nice, it has improvement that could be done like more type of enemies but maybe jam time didnt allow it. Alrhough Artstyle kinda needs polishment as there is a lot of banding and jaggies.
