I loved this game. It is that kind of puzzle game where you gotta create a solution instead of find one and the level design explored it really well paired with the skull score system. Too bad some levels can't be beaten with 3 skulls but totally understandable. Great pixel art as well =D

Developer

Great to hear you enjoyed the open-ended puzzle design! It's a bummer we couldn't fix those darn bugs, though! But thanks for leaving a comment, it's much appreciated.

I've seen a lot of games of this style in the jam but this one is easily the best! Everything in it is so well polished and thought out. The puzzles I found to be the right amount of difficulty (at least for me) and the atmosphere was overall very enjoyable. I did seem to find some invisible object in the 2nd last level that was killing me or I seemed to of missed something? Over all amazing game! :D

Developer(+1)

Argh, not the invisible spike! Unfortunately, there's a spike collider without a sprite on the sixth level that sneaked by us during development. Sorry about that! But that's good to hear that it didn't affect your enjoyment too much, haha. Thanks for the feedback!

It was a damn good mechanic. Having him jump or move in a direction depending on the beat. The art and music styles really fit the game as well. The puzzles were damn challenging as well and were very fun. Great job overall :)

Developer

Thank you very much for the positive feedback! Knowing that people enjoy the game always brings a smile to our faces, so thank you for taking the time to let us know. It's much appreciated.

Hey, it's @cogspace from Twitch. This is a great concept and I think well executed! I was able to get through all of it and I'm working on getting 3 skulls on everything (except 2 and 6 <sad face>).

Developer

Hey, great to see you on here. My teammate Josh really enjoyed having you on stream yesterday! Good luck on those three-skull ratings (except for the bugged ones... Apologies)!

Charming style and good puzzles, very solid game!

Developer

Much appreciated. Thanks for the feedback!

Really excellent take on the theme! If there were more levels, I'd play this for hours. Phenomenal work! :-D

Developer(+1)

Aw, that's real nice to hear! We're planning on developing the game post-jam, so hopefully one day (soon-ish, I hope) there'll be a whole bunch more levels to enjoy! Thank you very much for the feedback.

Very challenging and a very fun puzzle. A lot of solutions which seem obvious at first don't end up working, so you need to think carefully about each puzzle. Great presentation too!

Developer

We're stoked you enjoyed the puzzles! A lot of thought went into them, so it's great to hear that they got you thinking!

I almost played the entire game! I stopped at the last level. It was a lot of fun and a very cool mechanic that definitely fits the theme! Could 100% be a nice mobile game or even a nice pc game for that matter.

Well done and good luck!

Developer(+1)

Even if you didn't make it to the end, we really appreciate you giving the game a try! And thank you for the encouraging words, we think so as well, haha!

I just finished it, really cool mechanics and loved the style! Good job on this one

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! And of course, thanks for giving the game a play!

I like the black and white pixel aesthetic! Like you said, the controls confused me at first because I didn't go to the game page, but they were simple enough to figure out by trial and error.

Developer (1 edit)

We're happy to hear that the aesthetic resonated with you! Oh, no! I tried to make it as clear as I could, but ultimately it's on us for not putting a tutorial into the build. Apologies!

This is one of my favorite entries. Great fun! Congrats to the whole team! :)

Developer

Thank you very much! We're all so thrilled you enjoyed the game!

Everything fits perfectly , the details and the flavor really puts you in this problem solving mode.
well done , You have my attention :)
PS:  level 3 solution?

Developer(+2)

Glad you enjoyed the game! For level three, this should help get you on the right track:

I'll leave the rest up to you!

So good your game, very original and well implemented. Hope you continue to support after the jam!

Developer

Hey, thanks! We're definitely planning on continuing development post-jam!

Pretty cool game! The sounds, music and gameplay fit really well. At the last screen there's an arrow going up that didn't fit into the box so I only saw it after the skeleton jumped. PS: how the heck do I get 3 skulls in the second level?

Developer

Shoot, unfortunately the second level is bugged! I hate to say it, but a three skull rating is impossible. As for the arrow on the last level not fitting inside the action bar, that one's on us. We didn't have enough time to make the arrows scroll along the bar, so again, apologies!

Submitted(+1)

I loved it, i really like how you visualize the next movements of the skeleton, also love the grayscale with pixel art aesthetic, well done!

Developer

We're thrilled to hear you liked the visualization! That was one of harder things to nail down during development, and we've got some ideas on how to improve it going forward. Thank you for the feedback!

Great game from every point ! I like a good pixelart puzzle game, and this one is really well-made (okay, except for invisible spikes). Good job to you!

Developer

Oh no, not the invisible spikes! Real sorry about that. If only we didn't wait til the last minute to upload... Oh, well! Anyways, thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!

Just saw Mausoleum Maker on a stream. It looks so good. I love the artstyle you choose for this one, and the concept is really well executed.

I gave up at last level, tho. Shame on me.

Well done!

Developer

Aw, that's so good to hear; thank you! Real glad you liked the artstyle. It definitely went through a couple of iterations, but this one was the team's favorite (and the easiest to animate!).

Submitted(+1)

Really awesome game here was really nicely polished! A little tricky to begin with some polish to UI would help. But well executed concept I'd love to see and play more of this!

Developer

Oh yeah, I'd like to think polish (especially UI/UX polish) is about 99.9% of what we're gonna be doing moving forward with the game, haha. Thank you very much for the feedback!

Clever idea. I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot for giving the game a play! And wow, real nice of you to feature us in your compilation, thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Liked the theme and art-style. Puzzles were fun to think about, last one took some time. Very nice and fun to figure out.

Developer

Great to hear! And yeah, that last one is pretty tricky!
