Great game and it's cool to see that you designed the levels to explore the mechanics' potential! I assume the final level required you to first ping the bottom left of the map and then ping the staircase right when the bottom chest is retrieved so the player doesn't go back to the first ping?

One of the levels  required only one ping but two were given, this was the one with a 3 locks and a spike around the staircase and two chests with keys near them. I was able to just ping the staircase and finish the level.

I think one thing that would help is to draw out the current pathfinding path and then update it when you see chests. Since the pathfinding isn't something easily predictable by the player this makes it easier to see in advance if your path will work and restart if it doesn't rather than having to wait for the entire path to complete.

Wow thanks for the detailed feeback! you are correct on the last level, as for the one that you only needed one ping its pretty flawed and I only discovered that after the deadline. Its just poorly designed in general, though you are the first person to beat it in one ping. Thanks for playing!

Awesome game! Great level progression and challenge, the final one had me stumped, and it was incredibly satisfying to finally put the pieces together! I'd love to see more of this game, it's got a ton of potential. Good job!

I played this game at the beginning and think I should leave something:

Great idea !And I feel fortunate I could play such a game as my first game in this jam

I'm fortunate that people were interested that early. Thanks for playing!

This was so great! Audio fit the game really well, it was super intuitive and well explained through the early levels and the difficulty scaling was great. The very last level hints at some really cool interactions you could do if you kept working on it! I really enjoyed this.

Developer

there's a good shot I'll keep working on this. thanks for the feedback!

Pretty good puzzle game, I liked the aesthetic.

This is an amazing take of the theme, and a parofy of many players reactions to going through a dungeon - love it!

yeah treasure is a blessing and a curse XD

would love a post jam version with more content!

I'll see about it and its pretty likely. I've been trying to come up with a shorter project to release as my first game and this might be perfect

I love puzzle games, and this is a very intersting puzzler indeed! The fact that you have navigation for the player, but he can be distracted by chests, is genius. It opens up a lot of cool level designs and challenges that you normally couldn't do. Although I got stuck on the 4th of 5th level (it was pretty tough), I really enjoyed the game and would love to play more. Good job on making this for the jam :)

Developer

thanks dude

The last level is so well thought! Took me a while, but the solution was really satisfying.

Globally the game has a very great level-design: minimalist, to the point, always teaching something. It's a really great puzzle, and it's rare to see that kind of design in a jam. Well done!
