How does your game represent "Slick"?
With some slick moves and a lot of pizza, this game is as slick as a greasy fast food restaurant.

Wow, this gives me the most complete experience out of all the games I’ve played so far. Everything is top-notch - the gameplay, sound, art, level design, and the huge amount of content provided. You’ve got something special here and I think it totally deserves first place. I wish you guys the best!
That would be unbelievable cool, thank you!
There's an absurd amount of all-round good stuff here, but it looks like a lot of that has already been said. I agree with all of it, it's really good!
If I am to give something for the team to work on, it'd be the controls, I found the sudden stopping of the skateboard unintended, and sometimes I fell through the railing without meaning to. There's definitely some parts of levels that feel slick as hell and some that feel clunky - I'd say it doesn't matter too much whether it's too easy, as long as the players feeling slick n good, that's enough. I also had a large lag spike when the bomb exploded for the first time (I played on web). Sometimes as well when you're carrying something it seems to clip into you which was hard to tell if intentional or not
Again, incredible level of polish for a gamejam, it would handily beat paid titles that exist on steam already
The issues you mentioned (aside from the bomb) are caused by playing with the joystick instead of the d-pad... We forgot to set joystick input to be digital rather than analog, so if the game registers an input between 0 and 1, it freaks out on rails/while spinning. Nobody noticed during testing because we all played on either keyboard, or with the d-pad. :/
Forgot most people play platformers with joystick (Whoopsie!!!)
Ditto to what mangoes said. Darn joystick!
I second (or third I guess) the joystick. I'd also like to mention though for lag, you're right about the particles loading for the first time causing frame drops. I personally noticed more of this on Firefox and less on Chrome, so if you are on Firefox, that might be a band-aid fix. Thank you for the feedback regardless though !
super high quality and very fun. Shame about the joystick bug but is very fun to play on SNES controller.
Yep. I am shocked that we never noticed it during testing. I guess we just use DPad or keyboard. Glad you enjoyed!
had to stop playing and get back to work. really fun game I feel like this would be super fun on the steam deck. I love how well the game design is with adding new move sets gradually and then you’re just zipping around and dunkin
Thank you for the complements!
This is a very impressive offering! Amazing graphics, awesome music, smooth gameplay... amazing! A perfect score from me
Thank you!
Crazy good game. There is so much depth to this. From the screenshots I thought this would be a somewhat simple game but the skill ceiling on this is insane.
Fantastic work. I could see this one win.
That would be awesome, thank you!
This is incredible, so slickkkkk
HOLY POLISH! slick out of five !
Very good game! Got a little frustrated trying to do some of the tighter jumps and such, but very cool aesthetic and gameplay
The UI is the only good part (jk it's all good)
agreed ab the ui
The menus, the mechanics, the art, the music, it's all guap
This is SUCH an amazing game jam game oh my gosh! That is a full 5 stars from me
Thank you so much!
Ladies and gentlemen, this one's a winner
Thank you, that would be neat :D

Goes without saying that this is super polished. Very cool moveset, although it does take some getting used to since some of the controls and interactions are a bit unconventional. I got hard stuck on level 5, managed to get past the 4 spiky guys at the beginning once, failed the wall jump and couldn’t get back.
yep, a bit of a challenging game to control (really slick if you get the hang of it). easiest thing to do in level 5 is grab the first jumpoo, then spin and continue right using him to jump off midair!
Ah, I had no idea you could grab them. They look spiky!
Yeahhhhh we probably should've swapped it out with one of the green guys.
In playtesting, we didn't catch that some people might think he's ungrabbable :p
this game is so slick, and i am so bad, always got F but i want to spend more time to get better. the level of polish is insane for the jam. i can see this one getting a lot of attention!
with some time, even you could get slick rank.
the slickest game I've played this jam, plays like a dream. I would 100% buy this if it was a full game
A game about slickness that features pizzas AND aliens?? Sound outlandish, but only an awesome out-of-the-box thinking game designer can make it work. And that too with tremendous amount of polish, for a limited time game jam!! Keep up three awesome work. Is like to play the full version of this game someday 😇
Do make sure to play and rate our game as well (it might take a minute for it to load)
Perfection, no notes.
Thanks, but definitely had room to improve, notes please! :D
Okay, I went back to it to find some notes. There isn't anything obvious that needs improving, but I will break the illusion of perfection if I must. The grinding can bring the movement to a halt when using a controllers joystick. Maybe a rounding error of a previous input? Similarily, I was able to go straight down holding the ufo only when pressing down on the joystick. I couldn't find a way to do that with keyboard or the D-pad. But yeah, very minor stuff. Cheers!
Aw, thanks. Yeah. Somehow the joystick problems snuck by us, I, especially, was just using keyboard to test 95% of the time. It literally was just not rounding any non-integer inputs to the nearest integers. oh well!
