Yo congrats on playing all the way through, I really appreciate that! We definitely could've used some more time to rework mode combos in all honestly... I absolutely hate retaliation mode personally, and the only reason it's still in is because it was too late in development for me to really say anything about it lol. Crazy how three weeks still doesn't feel like enough time!
Thank you for the constructive feedback.
Super cool, loved when you started combining multiple modes together to create more interesting challenges! Just sucks that the game is so short. That and the jumping feels pretty pathetic, which is the opposite problem of my game where the jumping is a bit too spastic lol. Tough to find that sweet spot I guess... Aside from that the art is also great, pat yourself on the back! Probably one of my favorite submissions so far.
5 stars across the board!
Transformers meets Armored Core. Love everything about this, the music when you get into a level, the artstyle, the vintage feel. But the game is very hard so I keep dying lol, and then the game crashes so I have to reboot every time...
Definitely gonna chip away at this until I beat it, but in the meantime, I must say you've done a great job on this!
RIP Ice Cream king, but I got bills to pay!
Lovely game you two cooked up, setting up a ricochet trap where you can melt through a herd of enemies was the best part for me. And the art was really nice too, I definitely dig the style you went for. My only complaints might be that there's a bit too much to read for how short the game is, and that there's no checkpoints. I found that frustrating until I realized the game is only three rooms lol, so in the end it's not a big deal.
Short and Sweet. Nice job guys!
Cheater cheater pumpkin eater. I knew I'd played it somewhere already... You're not slick, pal! >:OOhttps://scratch.mit.edu/projects/925669033/
Rough around the edges, but I dig it! It's nice playing an entry revolving around combat, and I like the different effects you can apply to enemies (although i mostly spammed freeze and then fire lol). Great art too, but the lack of feedback and potion slots not being visually distinct irk me a bit though.
Lol love the dark ending. Puzzles were light but fun, and the art while crude is very cute. My favorite level is definitely the last one with the ladders, just a great use of the mechanics you came up with, although the jank got a little frustrating at times... An enjoyable ten minutes! EDIT: sound design is hilarious btw
