CCtoad never fails to impress with his cleverly worded thoughts :)

i will find that penny... and i will end him...

Thanks for playing! :D

The amount of content on display here is astounding and almost overwhelming! Definitely need to watch the bonejacq interview after beating this lol.

This game is such a vibe. The visuals lie somewhere between cozy and eerie, and I love it.

Undeniably slick. Bullet time is always cool.

very fun physics on the car! couldn't stop myself from loading back up and seeing if i could beat my pb time and time again. accompanied by the rainy atmosphere, it felt almost cozy as i did a slip and slide, crashed and died.

Very fun game! Pleasing to the eyes, good visual clarity, satisfying sound design, and leaves you wanting more.

I'm inclined to agree with my cohort in these areas!

Insane visuals btw, very slick. o.O

Worms started docking, this would never happen in MY worm game smh... At least they looked dapper whilst doing it I suppose.

worm/worm, no notes

Very Snappy, Snazzy, and some might even say... Slick, game you've got here.

Basically has everything I want from a jam entry, except for checkpoints !!! >:()

Seriously though this is a very tightly designed, snappy platformer. Good job!

I pressed at least 2 keys in the process of beating this game

This game is slick, like oily pasta! Mama mia!!

The issues you mentioned (aside from the bomb) are caused by playing with the joystick instead of the d-pad... We forgot to set joystick input to be digital rather than analog, so if the game registers an input between 0 and 1, it freaks out on rails/while spinning. Nobody noticed during testing because we all played on either keyboard, or with the d-pad. :/

Forgot most people play platformers with joystick (Whoopsie!!!)

I HATE THAT GUY !!

I singlehandedly almost lost because of that guy

sunk too much time into this one...

love the SFX btw

As my cohort said: really slick game!

Very cohesive visual style, and I love how you used squash and stretch to get the most out of the limited player animation. On the gameplay side, my favorite part is probably tricking to extend your air-time and avoid enemies, almost wish the game leaned even more into it.

Really enjoyed the aesthetics of this one, from the models/texuring, to the handrawn UI. The physics are all over the place, but somehow not frustrating, and it makes me feel big brain taking shortcuts when I see em' on the GPS.

But I almost wish you were scored purely on time, rather than on the condition of the food as well, because running into funky hitboxes that I couldn't see can really take me out of the fun zone, but I get what you were going for. Very slick entry!

The controls are pretty tough to master (my own game is no different) but in those moments where it clicks, you feel truly... Slick.

Also, bullet time will never not be cool

Very pretty, and pretty slick game! I got all the fruits and all the targets! (took me five minutes though, which barred me from that secret entrance :d)

Love how the simplicity of the gameplay allows you to create a bunch of encounters where the player immediately understands how to tackle them! Perfect jam entry, although I kept getting a glitch where I wasn't being rewarded time for touching the greens stuffs.

Otherwise, very slick!

test

Yeahhhhh we probably should've swapped it out with one of the green guys.

In playtesting, we didn't catch that some people might think he's ungrabbable :p

Funnily enough, originally you were supposed to deliver pizza to the TMNT in the sewer levels, but we swapped them out for the aliens you see in the other levels. Glad to know the TMNT vibes are still in there somewhere.

No way you participated in the jam too? Def checking out your entry tomorrow lol

Funnily enough, it was actually Poke who came up with the skater idea! Thanks for playing, been meaning to get around to your game after I saw it in the discord last night.

Super fun! Sunk a good 15 minutes into it.

I thought the tutorial button was the title/game logo for my first couple runs, and didn't click it... Somehow made it to the final wave both times not knowing what I was doing. On my final attempt I actually did the tutorial and it definitely opened my eyes lol. Once I learned about the turbo lightning strike of death, I was always beelining to use it as often as I could. So cool!

The only complaint I have relates to the browser build's funky sensitivity, and maybe that I wish the sound for throwing enemies into other enemies were a bit crunchier.

10/10 entry otherwise!

Pretty slick! Love jam games that have a simple, yet fun gameplay loop that you can get into easily. With some more crunch/juice this could've been turbo slick!

It's a shame you didn't finish, but for what it's worth, I like what's here! Especially that player sprite, it caught our team's eye in the discord.

Cute, and short! :D

Woah! Thanks for the deep dive on your thoughts, positive and negative! :)

There's definitely room for improvement with the level design, as we basically were discovering the identity of the game as we designed the levels lol. Would be fun to maybe refine what we have here in the future.

Lovely spooky atmosphere, and that CRT effect is insane for Scratch! This is the type of game that inspires me to make stuff of my own.

a smart, and simple use of the theme :)

Gem spotted!

Very nice use of the spooky, yet vibrant color palette and very confident line work on the trees. Good variety with the assortment of tiles too. Big fan o' dis one!

Kevinzies Elevenzies! :O

Thank you so much for to playing my game! :D

Lina Mosa vibes. Cool game, pretty tough! I think some combos are impossible (I've had that problem in my own Lina Mosa-like lol)

Very simple, very satisfying, very fun!

It's seemingly a rare, unfortunate bug. You could always try again assuming you didn't make it too far into the game, I'd be shocked if you got it to happen a second time back to back. I understand if you don't though. :P
