This is fucking hilarious. Not only that, the vibes and lore are both very rich. I can see my players having a blast exploring this place.

Information design is good and easy to understand, though the paper texture makes it a bit hard to read. I would also appreciate having a few more details about each location and NPC—I just want this to be longer than 4 A5 pages!

Thanks. That is good advice. I'm looking to expand it.

The maps & sillier tone are great, as is the newspaper-y format and clean layout. Good work!

This is very fun, you've fit so much in to the space! Art is great too.

Whimsy at its best. Very easy read. Great premise. A lot of content. What more could a GM ask for?

A chaotic conflict between ice worshipping yetis and fire elementals. This packs ideas and humour into concise descriptions. I love the clear summary page introducing the factions, kettle (clock) and suggested hook for the players.

I like that you presented this as, like, a newspaper? I really enjoy that diagetic twist. This is a super unique entry. The silly tone feels very in line with the DIY-zine-spirit of the 70s, even though the art isn't trying to mimic a retro style.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I gotta tell you even if I wanted to mimic a retro art style from the 70s, I probably couldn't. But was definitely going for a newspaper. I ran the cover art through a filter to mimic old comics on newsprint half tone style.

Seriously silly - like Dr. Seuss or Rankin & Bass.  Enjoying the diversified fantasy economy with tourism, mining, sports, etc.  In my head canon it was "ounded by Yeti" because they used to own it, and now they (h)ound you for it.  Diverting.  There are some Appendix N authors like Frederic Brown who've done ironic comedy pieces.

Developer

Wow that's high praise.  Thanks!

So much fun! The Kettle Meter is inspired.

I don’t have anything to say that they others haven’t — just that you’ve given all the right details to make the scenario and the NPCs easy to run. Very charming!

Loved the "art punk" art style!

Love the use of the cover as both a handout and intro for the GM.

Your use of secrets and clues is great. I should have done that myself. I think it’s really useful for a short module that’s very non linear.

Well done!

Secrets and clues are a Sly Flourish Lazy DM innovation.  You should check it out.

There are a lot of clever and cute things to be found in here! Very lighthearted, I think this would make for a fun diversion for tables.

Great read. I love the newspaper front page. I'm also a fan of the wackiness: probably the most tongue in cheek and generally fun entry I've read so far.

Developer

Thanks,!

I love the map and your short, impressionistic descriptions of the keyed locations. It’s just enough to play with, and really sets up what’s at stake with the Great Boil. Clever presentation overall!

The newspaper is a cool way to present and ties in well with the themes. I like the structure and the way the adventure can go some different directions, with different solutions possible. The fun whimsical nature would be a fun experience. Rumor list... so useful. Kettle meter... great addition to up the 'pressure.'

The newspaper is a clever idea to show the connections between the different factions, and I like how all the factions have very clear goals and secrets!

It's really cool that the front page looks like a newspaper cover. Beautiful art with the Snowburg map. And the comment about not everything being resolved through combat is very valid, i hope the same with my adventure.

This is just fun.

That being said, there is a ton of stuff in this, but it doesn't feel crammed. That, in itself, is remarkable. Your have to be in the right mood for a light-hearted adventure, but if you are, this is the one to grab.

Thanks!

This brought me a lot of joy haha. I really like the light hearted tone, yeti tourism and the newspaper page as a handout is just awesome. Great art and maps too!
