Really well rounded adventure with tons if interesting rooms. Feels very table-ready. You create very visual spaces; I know space constrains are real for this jam, but I'd love to see an extended version with some pictures to supplement your detailed writing. Very good job :)

Crazy good art, must be said even though it's been said many times over.

I like how this is practically a layer to drape over another dungeon / adventure. I love that, and makes it very easy to insert in an ongoing campaign. I think one awesome way to use this module is by implementing it on a location players visited before (and that's dear to their heart), but has been waxified.

I have to keep this one in mind for that scenario :)

The visual design brings out a great atmosphere, almost newspaper-like (especially at the start, where that works really well). I really like your overland adventure content, but think it would really benefit from an expansion to flesh out the foundry / city of the dead. Great work :)

Lots of positive feedback here already I very much agree with, but I want to especially highlight the minigames you've added in very few words that are still clear and interesting. Amazing work!

Did you seriously manage to put a system, character creation and a adventure in only 4 (or 3 really) pages? That's amazing. The most astounishing part is that the text doesn't feel cramped at all. Your writing as a really nice flow, yet manages to convey a lot of information. Interesting resolution mechanic too!

they'll find out soon enough if you make the first few a bit obvious haha

The setup of this adventure is inspired! The whole thing just being the actual museum pamphlet *cheff's kiss*.  And... would it be fair to assume you like Cairn's spell(scroll)s?

Love everything about this. I think this is an amazing format for MB myths (please make more!). The only question I have is: how do you expect the random encounters to be used?

You created a solid scenario based mostly on the people, instead of the locations. I think that was a really good move to create the depth in the right places. Although most of the adventure consists of blocks of text, your visual ques and keys made it very clear anyway.

I chuckled at the city generation part. Honestly I think you could've provided a simple city in about the same space, but I love that you took the generator route. More adventures should have those :)

Oof, that's a difficult title to work with, but you pulled it off! Good setup, clean dungeon, fun content. My nitpicks would be the information presentation, I think bolded words and bullets can help a GM easily find the information. Incredible that this is your first adventure. Make more!

A small rural adventure of a kind I've never really seen before. Love the atmosphere this brings. It's a real slow-burn of an adventure, which is different than I'm used to, but I can see the village coming to life with the right GM. Your excellent writing really sets them up for success.

I love that you use Into-the-Odd mechanics because that means it's easier for me to drop this in somewhere :)

Great use of a depthcrawl for your title. The three tables fit each other like a glove. The dice rolls give a nice level of variation to the rooms/encounters. Send easy enough to fit into most campaigns, which I might try to do :)

A simple layout (only 6 rooms) that still packs a lot of variaty and gameability. Very well done :)

Incredibly dense in the best way, but also a little challenge to grok on a first pass. Having grokked everyhting on the second pass, though, it's obvious these 3-and-a-half page could fill multiple sessions of content. Amazing stuff, creating a full bronze age world!

The map on the cover is very well done. I really like the graphical layout tricks you've applied; make the whole very easy to run at the table. Just a very clear and consice adventure :)
That's a strong hammer btw!

A perfect little faction put inside a perfect little booklet. I love these drop-in things, and this one feels very complete.  I'm immediately putting them on my random encounter table :)

p.s. the ceremonial staff of Blodau mentions "more stats under the rumors table", but I don't see any?

This is drowning in creativity, a true joy to read. Makes me reconsider the way I approach my own writing, as the strangeness gives everything wings. This is one of those places where you'd be able to get near infinite inspiration from. Kudos!

This is an experience! It really feels like a story I participated in through reading the... Adventure? The switch to the dungeon on page 4 is sharp, but it felt like a second act of sorts, similar to the way some of the best indie video games do. I like how you tie it back to the prison at the end :)

Many others have praised the fun mechanics of the adventure, but I want to highlight the way you write as well. You manage to do a tremendous amount of worldbuilding in only a few sentences. "A gravitational studies library from the age of titans" is such a dense (hah!) sentence, and tells the reader a lot about the world :)

If it wasn't clear: I don't think the diversity in play is a bad thing! Once you take down one simulacrum though, I assume the player will be inclined to seek combat to take down the others as well. At least some of the NPCs will be inclined to help them overthrow the status quo either way.

What's the intended power level of a simulacrum?

you have a lot of white space between lines, especially in the tables on the last page. I think you'd be able to compress those an inset your map there. It's also the place where it's most convenient to have so that's a nice bonus

Hah, what a crazy read. I think this adventure will play out very differently dependant on the players; either becoming a very social affair or very combat heavy, hanging on the question whether or not they'd give up their magical stuff. What's your own expectation of that front?

I loved the cover (front and back), it sets a really strong vibe from the get-go. I had a hard time parsing the instructions. It probably mainly needs a few additional pages to flesh it out. I would honestly love if you wrote out the instructions more as you did the introducing paragraph. I think they're simple enough to afford that.

(1 edit)

A good mix of scifi horror through a fantasy adventure You're very good at writing a lot of content with only few words. I think your map deserves a more prominent place inside the pages of the adventure!

You set a high bar for us all! Truly awe inspiring work :)

Very smart to reference as many external (re)sources as you do, it condenses a quite substantial work into just a few pages. It makes it a little harder to pick up than the page count would suggest, but those willing to do so have a very deep adventure laid out for them.

I adore the "things known" mechanic, I'm sure you can write a heap of adventures (or an entire system) surrounding it. It neatly ties together the history of this place with its current situation. And you've managed to have that current situation be dynamic as well!

And that's not even mentioning the layout, which is very effective and easy to process / reference. Would love to see more work like this :)

You write very effectively, providing a quite grandiose adventure in just 3 pages. You even included a full set of travel rules! It's probably possible to run a multi-session adventure in this region. Mad respect :)

Love the tragic story. Simple yet effective layout; the map on the front cover is smart use of the space. I really like how easy it is to drop this statue into any adventure (which I will probably do).

A lot of content was pumped into just a few pages, which is done very well! Like others said, I think the map is the highlight of this adventure. The main nitpick I have is that the text is sometimes hard to read (especially the map's legend), but that's nothing more than a small fix. Really good job :)

Shandu! Found out about the mistake too late, didn't want to change it during the rating process.

Truly amazing. The visuals initially grabbed a hold of me, but the dungeon delivers in concept and executions too.

Glad to hear it!

My intention wasn't that Lupine is behind the curse. She's just the only one who didn't fall victim to it, and now tries to support those who did.

The back door leads outside as you said. Entering (breaking in) from that way brings you faster to the heart of the problem.

Thank you so much for your kind words on both this anthology and the previous one. Blue Leprechauns was cenrtainly one of our favourite ones to make. Let us know how it was when you give it a shot!

Thank you! We'll make some small amendments thanks to this.

You're awesome for doing this. Really useful feedback for adventure design even outside Revivify's dungeon.

Now I really want to finish my entry!

Hey, I was considering submitting my entry for the community zine, but itch didn't seem to want me to!

I don't know if I'm the only one who's facing this problem

"Participants will submit a 500-600 word Analog Role Playing Game. The form of the game is up to you. It can be a stand alone rule set, a module for an existing system, or a fun add-on for another RPG."

Would a TTRPG adventure / dungeon fit this description, or fall outside of the criteria?

This project really opened my eyes how strong the Honey Heist system is. Monster hunting is such a natural fit! Your micro zine layout works really well for the rule's structure. Clear, fun, concise. Really well done.
