Hey, cool submission :)
The game feels simple but really satisfying to play, so congratulations on the jam!

How does your game apply the limitation (and optionally, the theme)?
Well, there is a boss at the end of the game stage. I'm not sure if it applies the theme well, but basically the plot is that there is a human who came to the Afterlife and now the spirits there are berserk. So the Afterlife is on the edge, maybe?

What main engine/tool/language did you use to construct the game?
I used TIC-80 and Lua.
Which diversifiers did you use, if any?

I was already impressed, but then I saw that you made the game using TIC-80, and I was even more impressed! Great game!
gerat comsept and exicution the stars in the bacground are distracting
That was great! Love that you made a game using TIC-80! I think the boss battle could've been even better if the attack patterns were varied. Perhaps there was a glitch, but the boss stayed in a single spot (when at about halfway on HP) and only did a circular spreading fireball attack.
Well done! I love the details like the stars moving at different speeds and the variety of enemies. The boss fight was done very well too. I've never played as a piece of toilet paper before, it was fun :) Joking ofcourse. Good job all around.
Really good game! I like how the game gave a big room for error at the start, really helped in picking up controls and overall playability. Really cute characters as well. Great Job!
fun game i like the art and mechanics very simplistic although i didnt get the requirement and theme
Awesome job! I usually find bullet hells to be frustrating, but giving the player abundant health gives them room to experiment and learn the movement and shooting (definitely a good call, especially for a jam game)! I also thought the art fit the game really well, and was easy to read even amongst all the chaos
Hi there!
Interesting little game! As you said, your background story introduces the theme, but to be fair it's not really visible when playing the game (if you don't read the description, nothing in game make you feel "oh yeah that's how the developer implemented the 'on the edge' thing").
Sprites having the same aspect ratio: YES! I really dislike when sprites are not consistent, so I'm super happy when I find a game having a proper pixel art done :)
The bullet hell at the end is really cool! Maybe you could improve that by a bit just by making the bullets more visible (outlines maybe?) because on the blue background I had sometimes trouble to keep track of them, especially the green ones.
It's overall a good game, very short but super fun.
This game was really cool. All of the art assets mixed together nicely and the pixel resolution was consistent throughout. I really dug the actual gameplay and dialogue too.

Nice game although I must point out that it is very difficult with the stars moving behind you while other objects are flying at you. If you get the chance, please take a look at my game.
Pretty cute shmup ! It played really well, it looked good and the music fits the game nicely (even if a bit short). Writing was pretty cute too, Robert the parapsychologist had nothing to do here.
I would have liked a bit more feedback when you hit the ennemies but other than than a solid implementation.
Good work :)
