- Solid combination of art, sound, narrative, and gameplay. Would love to see this expanded with more content!
How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
A card game + autobattler featuring broken card combos and extremely chaotic combat physics.
The game puts player in the role of a developer of a broken game, fighting off glitches and bugs to fix it!
Other game mechanics also amplify the chaos, such as having a new rule thrown at the player each round to make them adapt and rethink their strategy.

Amazing visuals and lots of juice! Pleasantly surprised to see an autobattler in a gamejam with a card game (and all of this is inside the meta game?). I really liked how every turn there was a different effect which kept you on your toes. It's clear a lot of effort went into this as it's very ambitious but it pays off! It would've been nice if we could see what cards our deck holds for strategy (but I guess that would take away the chaos). But honestly, this is an incredibly entry and a very polished game given the 3 day time constraint!
Thank you for the kind words! We were surprised ourselves when the game was able to come together like this, so it means a lot to us that you enjoyed it.
Of course we had plans to put in a lot of standard features for the genre but as we all know, we all had to prioritize for the most essential parts. We are working on a post-jam updates so if you want to be kept in the loop for it consider giving one of us a follow XD.
Had a blast playing this game! It’s super fun and looks really polished. The sound design does a great job of making the player feel like they are dealing with a computer, and the juicy art absolutely delivers!
I did notice a few things, like multiple cards giving health to the nexus while also dealing damage. Maybe having some mutually exclusive effects on the same card would help with clarity.
You should all be really proud of the final result. I see a great future for this project, and I hope you continue to explore its development!
Thank you for all the kind words!
Yea the duplicate effects could be simplified for better clarity for sure. It came from the round effects that adds extra effects onto your existing cards. We weren't able to consolidate all the extra random effects into simplified form, but we will look into that.
We will definitely try to see where this project can go from here. Please give me and other members' of the team a follow if you want to get updates on this project :)
The sound design is the best part of this - like how it changes depending on what's happening. The art is really good. The gameplay felt maybe less strategic than what you were going for? But I still had a blast. One of the contenders for winning the jam.
Very polished game. The art is quite good and funky.
I got feedback for design:
- I like the idea that in each turn player will got some random debuff/buff to the cards. But this is now not really give strategy layer for me to think since my cards will be random and I cant control the card pack (no collection aspect) so it will be random x random.Eg: in Slay the spire I can play more strategically because I control the card pack and have hint from enemy next steps.
- The card EP cost kind of high which cause me hard time to play, since most of them keep going with 4 and 5 EP which require me to invest more to cap EP at early game. This force me to play in 1 meta only, maybe have more meta to play for early game
At the end of the day, this is quite good game for 3 days jam! Congratulation
Holy cow, an autobattler for a game jam! Well done. I'm sure this took a tremendous amount of effort. The art style was nice, the deck mechanics were great, and I think you have the bones of a really nice prototype here. Well done. My only complaint is I wish there was a bit more of an onboarding process. It was straightforward enough to figure out the mechanics, but it felt a bit overwhelming at first reading all the different cards and trying to grasp exactly what was going to happen. Nicely done overall!
Thank for for playing! It was my second try on the autobattler genre in game jams, and I'm glad I have a good team this time to bring such concepts to life!
The onboarding process is definitely a key piece of feedback that I have heard from a few people, so there should be a better way for sure. but yeah, getting the core game out the door is definitely the priority in jams.
i wanted to see a boss bug ! , but over all a cool finished and executed game.
Great art and good game-play. truly have fun playing it!!
Incredible gameplay loop. Extremely fun and simple autobattler. Love the art and sfx and music as well.
Very good, great gameplay, I liked the art, the story, and the cutscenes, and especially the wide variety of cards and the game’s logic.
This was a good bit of fun! You all made something amazing in these 3 days. I especially loved the music made for it! I did get a bug (of the less intentional variety) that soft locked the game when all of the enemies and allies died right next to what I assume is the enemy nexus health collider. The game didn't move to the next wave when that happened. But regardless, this was absolutely incredible!
Thank you for playing it!
I worked on the battle physics and yeah it's unfortunate that those pesky bugs still exist in the game, but within the time frame I had tried my best to fixed as many of those edge cases as I can. They are just kinda really random so I wasn't able to fix all of them. But regardless I'm glad you had fun!
I really had fun with this one... been playing for about 1h now and I really like the gameplay. Everything is nice, the audio, the visual, the mechanics, everything is chef kiss. Ez 10/10. The error card is damn OP man and it makes me feel unstoppable xD.
