Interesting, I'll try recreate the glitch. Thanks!

thanks for giving it another try! I will definitely consider the circle as a lot of people are saying they lost their character

Didn't know that about Brave browser, I wonder if it's an engine issue or my game in particular.

Introducing more colours would be an obvious way to fix some of the visibility issues but picking the right colour and making it look nice will be difficult. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks!

noted - will likely drop speed top speed if I develop this further. thanks!

It's a challenge of 1bit to make everything visually discernible, thanks, you've given me good feedback to target.

Thanks for the review! - noted, autofire should be an option for this kind of game.

Probably my favourite game from the jam. You took a simple concept and fully ran with it. The sprites are great. Crazy that the music is AI too because it was well implemented.

I like the theme implementation and the music, there's not too much to the gameplay, would've perhaps liked it to be sped up and a bit more complex. right now it's just walk to the item, bring it back.

Enjoy the concept, progression speed is way too slow. These things are supposed to be dopamine simulators. That being said, very well polished and the music is awesome.

The art and music is cool. I like changing between the forms, but the human form is so useless. The game is quite high difficulty off-rip, some really punishing level design where it probably didn't need to be.

Great theme implementation, and I couldn't even tell the music was AI. What you did with the presentation was good too even if the art wasn't drawn by yourself. I kind of didn't like the gameplay because of it just boiling down to making numbers go up or down, but the overall package was good.

Good idea, wish there was more variety of toys and requests.

You gain more points for guessing correct than failing so I found the best strategy was to just spam either yes or no, statistically, you will win. Also, I think the CRT filter means the game will be disqualified.

I really like the aesthetic, art, music, polish. for constructive criticism the game is a bit boring and could have done with being sped up so there's more of a reaction element.

You can indeed get hit by the spawn animation, but the hitbox is tiny. I've thought of a workaround so you can't get hit by it. Thanks for the feedback, it's valuable.

I just retried the game and there is no difference between having the tutorial on or off from what I can see.

Really nice art, really difficult to navigate. I would have preferred if the game only showed the directions which were available to walk to from your current location. Moving around is very frustrating.

The gameplay isn't for me personally, I just don't enjoy this five nights at freddys style. but full marks for every other category. atmospheric and well presented game.

Love the visuals, impressive illusion of colour with the dithering. Sound design is good, very creepy. Just wish the gameplay was more engaging.

I do like these moral choice style games, would have really liked if there was sound effects - that would have taken it to the next level. Also, not entirely sure my choices affected anything

I like the art and music. Couldn't really understand how to play it, some instructions would be good.

You took a simple concept and just applied a tonne of game-juice to it, which I respect. I don't think the game handles high scores well as it starts to seriously slow down/drop frames around the 400+mark

For a game this mechanically complex it would be good for the game to explain in-game how to play it. There seems to be an option for a tutorial in the menu but no way to access it. Also the temporal dithering, it is impressive but it makes the game really difficult to look at (and seizure inducing).

Made me laugh. Yeah that's valid criticism, will address if I ever patch the game post-jam.

Thanks for the comment. You originally had to collect 100 gems but that was too harsh. I would consider changing the gem count if I ever develop this further

I did notice the movement being off whilst developing this but as the creator it's easy to just get used to it and not consider it a problem. I'll definitely fix this for future games. Thanks

I like the concept, and moving around and shooting works. For improvement, could have really done with some sound effects.

Had to rage quit the level with the  moving elevator

I imagine this is gonna get rated badly for music but I loved it ironically

For improvement: Please let us reset the level without clicking the mouse

I predict this winning the best game page. The art and music is obviously great. There's very little to the gameplay though. Would like to see this art and music direction used in a more involved game. good job

I was going to complain about how unfair his jumping slam attack was in the final phase but then i got gud and managed to win. Great entry, just doesn't seem to be "offering" related

I enjoyed the colour pallet, and collecting massive amounts of money. didn't really like the enemies resetting me but you can get around that by just zooming past them. Just could have done with there being more to it

the biggest piece of advice I can give to improve this game is the camera should not move like that. You are stuck on the left side of the screen, you can't see what you're doing if you try to move left.  Conceptually the idea is good, just that camera issue needs fixing.

Really like the artwork. I enjoyed callback to game and watch style gameplay, but it's really confusing on how you're supposed to play it and also quite buggy.

I like the concept of a single room point and click, just needed a bit more to it. The art and polish is great though.

Your game is actually quite similar to mine.

Loved the music choice. the vampire survivors esque loop is always fun. good choice of graphics pack.

Would have liked the option to fullscreen, and it's not really clear how enemies are even causing damage to you. Eventually my bullets were doing so little damage to the enemies also which wasn't fun

super difficult, great art
