Cool game ! Just to think can be better an option for the sound volume and a little bit of explanation, it took me z moment to understand everything and why I fall and die ! But when I do, it's a really cool game ! Good Job !

Cool little game, the art is okay, thought some sprites don't really match with the aesthetics, the music is cool, but it stopped playing for some reason for me and it never came back. Also it could've use some more sound effects. The main thing that I dislike about this game is the ground with not collision, it could've work if there was some sort of effect indicating it, that would make things more fair, as randomly falling is not that fun.
The gameplay idea is cool, with a bit more polishing it can even be more fun!
Overall, pretty cool idea. Has some potential, if given more polishing!
Thank you for the feedback! The floor didn’t turn out as fun as I expected; the idea was for it to be a "bug," which is why I didn’t add any effects, but I plan to use your idea! About the music, you're right, it has that issue of stopping, and I’ll fix it in the next versions. Thank you for the encouragement!
Very nostalgic. i love the art and the visuals. the maps looks cool. some enemies dont have flash hit effect. the SFX and music was fire i loved that. overall great game !!!
Nice art vibes overall. Although all of them are premade assets so they feel mismatched. The lighting helps out a bit and that feels good.
On the gameplay side, I kinda can't get behind it tbh. The random floor tiles with no collision so you can just fall randomly through feels quite bad. Another nice control is that you actually shoot towards the direction of your mouse controls instead of just your movement direction.
Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the floor tiles without collision, it was the best idea I could come up with to fit the theme, but I also found it a bit annoying afterward. And, unfortunately, I still don’t have many artistic skills, so I had to use pre-made assets. I’m glad you liked some aspects, especially the lighting and the shooting system!
This is sick. The contra style wave shooter gives me Risk of Rain vibes. I realize you were short on time, but I think you did a great job in just 24 hours. Blending asset packs together can be really challenging, and I think you did a good job getting the palettes to match, and the art to feel readable. To the points you already made, some smarter enemies, a bit more variety in the gameplay, and just a bit more time to invest into this project would really give you something special. Nice work!
Your game reminds me of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, my fav game from my childhood. It was giving me that vibe while playing. It’s pretty awesome that you were able to do everything in just one day! Please carry forward the development after the jam as well. I’d really love to play more!
very impressive for one day of effort and everything fits in together very cohesively. I think you took the theme quite literally with killing bugs but would have liked to see how it integrates with the gameplay as well. I liked the sfx and overall feel of the game. Felt really polished for just one day. excited to see where it goes if you decide to take it further!
Thank you very much! That's right, I couldn't come up with any innovative ideas. But besides the insects, I added some things that don't work as they should.
Like some missing parts of the floor, an enemy with a bug (that no one has noticed yet), and the way to collect the bullets.
Also, there's a bug in the attack of the other enemies that I didn’t have time to fix hahaha, but I don't think anyone has noticed that yet either (whih is good? Maybe haha).
Love the art very much! Music and sfx are also great fit.
Needed to memorize where that floor is missing. Impressive amout of work for 1 day.

Guys, just a heads-up on a few things I wanted to implement in this game for the jam, but didn’t have time to:
- Health and ammo could go beyond the initial value (no max cap).,
- Separate boss battles.,
- Improved enemy collision.,
- Smarter enemy AI when it comes to attacks.,
- Ricocheting shots.,
- Parallax effect in the background.,
- Maybe instead of 3 bugs that kill instantly, just have 1.,
- Audio settings.,
And more…
That's pretty awesome for 1 day of work
