How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
In every level, I introduce a patch note that states the issues with the gameplay mechanics. Sometimes, the control breaks or jumps; sometimes, it's the enemy or gravity.
Sometimes, you will get to kill enemies, or enemies will. 50/50 chance. I think it's fair.
A to move left, D to move right, or maybe not. Space to jump or double jump. E to kill or be killed.
Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?
Did you use the Audius API in your game?

Nice game! Had a fun time trying it.
Thanks for playing. Glad you liked it :D
Holy cow, what an experience. This was definitely rage-inducing but in a funny and almost meme-able way? This kind of fits into a category like "Getting Over It" or "Jump King" where the absurdity of the challenge is what draws people in to play it. I think if you were to finesse the sounds, and tweak the physics and player controller a bit, this could become a really interesting prototype for a rage game. Great connection to the theme and the concept is oozing with potential. Nicely done!
Heya, thanks a ton for your feedback and suggestions!! Really glad the rage-factor landed in a fun way. I’ll definitely work on improving this, I think that’ll push it closer to the “fair but funny” frustration sweet spot.
Appreciate the encouragement!
Im honestly amazed you've concocted some of the absolute worst sounds you could possibly ever hear. its quite an avant garde approach but its pretty fun and looks good
Hey, thanks for playing and your comment. And sorry for the sounds. Everyone is saying the same, will be working onwards. Appreciate your feedback!
The error screen is okay, but the sound is very disturbing.
It is irony I am giving feedback about sound when my game got a lot feedback on sound being too loud. By the way, game also a platformer, but it is a puzzle game. Check it out!
Hey, thanks for playing this. I’ll be working on improving after the game. And yes, will definitely check yours one.
Cheers
I thought it was creative and fun, it fit well with the theme, but I didn't really like it when the error screens kept popping up all the time.
Well, I think I should’ve thought better on the error screen part. I’ll definitely release some improvements after the jam. Do you have any suggestion on what else should I work on next in terms of making it more fun?
Thank you so much for your feedback.
It was an annoying experience in a good way :D
Agreed!
Error sound killed me, my ears, my dog's ears, and my neighbour's ears. Wow what a terrible sound. please next time test it with a headphone :D I loved the artstyle and theme integration is spot on. Good job overall!
Sorry for all the ears, that’s y I added the disclaimer haha. Anyway, appreciate your feedback.
I like the Music and the Visuals, but error sound is extremly loud and disturbing. It matches the theme of Patch Notes very well. I like the random part in the bugs. Very nice game
To be honest, I should’ve chosen a less disturbing sound. Do you have any suggestions on what I could have done differently or how I could improve?
Thank you for playing my it.
The visuals are ok, only a bit mismatched but not too bad. Music is nice, but the dying sound is extremely bad, sorry to say. Platformer and patch notes mechanics are interesting, but you wrote that this was a "roguelike" game, but as far as I can tell it's not really randomly generated.
Thanks a lot for playing and sharing your thoughts! Totally fair point about the death sound, I’ll work on improving that. And you’re right about the roguelike tag, I was aiming more for roguelike-inspired mechanics rather than full random generation. Appreciate the honest feedback!
I like how you integrated the theme. Overall a pretty nice game. But I found the gameplay a bit confusing, but maybe thats just me. Keep up the good work :)
Thanks for your feedback. The gameplay IS confusing, and I found it hard to play myself as well.
I like how you develop the mechanics as the game progresses, which makes the gameplay quite interesting :) Although the error sound is a bit unpleasant, like metal scraping, haha
Hey, thanks for playing this crap. Yes, you’re right. The error sound is irritating. Anyway, appreciate your feedback!
