Satisfying animations, the polish on this is unreal!

Even the level design felt smooth (which is very hard to do in a jam format), not easy but not mind blendingly hard either. The jump height was properly adjusted as well. A bit too strict but it was fun finding the correct paths. This is a VERY solid entry!

The end scene was funny, nice touch!

As for providing feedback, other than the softlock bug, I felt like the player movement was a bit weird, specifically when you jump and keep your momentum, and try to make another jump, it doesn't let you, which makes the pacing awkward as the level is built in such a way which repeats the same places and once you memorize the layout, you'd want to speed run :P

Oh and also, on my PC I was hit with this issue, but was able to play the game after. Just nitpicking so you know the compatibility issues. This is a banger game, I'd love to play more levels!

10-12 hours and thanks for indirectly collaborating on the project by reverse engineering everything, that... that was nice!

Please don't beat me up T_T

For anyone wondering about the third person, it was me guys! You got me!

The bug was hilarious which Taku found, I had fun exploiting and completing the game lol.

From the moment I opened the project page, I was captivated by the stunning art style.

Incredible work for a 12-hour jam entry! This is easily one of the standout games of the jam.

Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot. The camera idea came from wanting to do something totally different and interactive. I’ve always been fascinated by how we can use everyday tech in unexpected ways, and the camera seemed like a cool way to let the player be part of the puzzle itself, rather than just controlling it from the outside.

I'm so glad the puzzles landed for you too! I had a blast designing them, and honestly, this whole project was a mix of experimentation and just trying to see what works in such a short amount of time.

Thanks again for the kind words ...really made my day! (´◡`)

Ah, yeah, that was a bug! I didn’t want to hit players with blaring music, but I ran out of time to implement a volume control, so it was a dirty way of starting the game and letting players themselves switch on or off the main music.

Thanks for pointing that out, it's a great lesson for next time. I'll definitely keep that in mind for future jams!

Thanks for the feedback! I totally get what you mean about the voice line, they definitely went a bit overboard BUT HONESTLY THEY WERE ONE OF THE BEST THINGS IN THIS JAM!

The jam format really pushed me to experiment with the Blinking mechanic. I was inspired by the "Pals" theme and came up with the idea of switching perspectives, like a Freaky Friday situation, and tried to explore Blinking as an environmental trigger versus just an input. It was a bit of a risk, but I wanted to see how far I could take it and how it could work in different ways.

I'm glad to hear the core idea came through, even if the mechanics didn’t hit as smoothly as I hoped.

It was a distinct and refreshing entry, you did great!

Getting pinched and thrown off the planet had me laughing XD

The game ran super smoothly, and I loved how you stopped any easy cheesing (timing your jumps on platforms)

Level design was great too! Would’ve been nice to have WASD (as i'm used to those controls) and key rebinding for accessibility, but for a jam game, that's literally unfeasible, I get that.

Nitpicking aside, amazing work for such a short timeframe!

Hey!

I had to check your game and what do I see?

Crazy how similar our games turned out, right?

I loved the puzzles, very intuituive with a progressive pacing introducing new mechanics along the way naturally.

As it was a jam ofcourse the polish could have improved but it was so good, the only thing which could have been improved I think was giving like 2 rows for players to switch easily? because going back and forth was painful due to fairly slow movement - or the movement speed could be increased ...but then the gate shutting speeds also had to be tweaked.

Anyways, it was an experience for sure!

Thank you for the keeping the sokoban genre alive!

Art style was simply stunning!

A smoother onboarding would have helped ...took me a minute to get the controls, but once I did, it was a blast!

Got hit with a lot of 'L takes' ...I’m not the best at rhythm games!

I think implementing input buffering could help ease players in. Great experience overall though!

That's so great, I definitely would! Your game was one of my favourites for sure!

Resetting a level always made me drop a banana as default which felt strange, and as others said, it was very hard perfectly landing (i.e. hitting the monkey with full power did not work) though using walls and being able to bounce back was a nice idea!

The camera movement is really nice and PHYSICS!

Best game 10/10 (uwu money bagz!).

But seriously, for a 12 hour jam time, the game is majestic and your engine is performant asf because I tried making a click macro to automate the game without throttling it didn't crash, absolute beast!

Also, making our games together all night  was very fun (stressful). AND WE BLAME YOU!

Simple and sweet! I always have been very good at this "pick which!" kind of games irl so it was very fun flexing XD

Great first jam! Keep it up!

The gravity was gravity-ing! The level design was great so was the art style, as others said, the controls were a bit hard and dying was quite punishing.

The concept was very original and well... JUMPING BUGS ARE SCARY!

Character designs, art, and storytelling are absolutely fantastic!

Beat the game first try ...would’ve been nice if it was a bit more challenging, but I get that it's better than having players rage quitting your game haha.

Great job overall!

Beat easy mode first try, then jumped into regular mode, pacing felt on point (which is hard to nail)! Really creative ideas packed into this game. Love the sound effects and art, they really bring it to life!

Pretty cool concept and fluid physics like the throws and collisions. Great job!

Got stuck on the second level (I'm not great at platformers T_T), but the mechanics felt very physics-y and I loved the vibes! Really impressive work for such a short timeframe!

Didn't quite connect with the theme and the controls felt a bit off (in second level if you hit a wall, the game just crashes), but the creativity and innovation are definitely there! Great effort!

Fair enough haha, thanks a ton for trying it out!

Wow, thank you! That means a lot to me <33

Thanks a bunch! So happy the concept and execution landed well with you!

Fair point! No camera can make it feel more basic, but I'm glad the puzzles still hit the mark.

Thanks for giving it a try!

Appreciate the shoutout to the level design!

Thanks! I'm so glad you had fun with the puzzles, even without the camera. I really appreciate you playing through it!

I'm really glad you enjoyed all the levels. It was a lot of fun putting them together!

Glad you enjoyed the puzzles. You're right about the movement switch, it's something I'll definitely work on making clearer in future updates. Appreciate you pointing that out!

Thanks so much! I'm really glad the puzzles and concept stood out to you.

Thank you so much! I hope the build worked alright, I was so nervous of making my own rendering routine...

Weirdly addictive I wanna say? I was having so much fun just trying to find angles to make the square stick to a place, the camera shakes are so good! The game feel felt amazing for a 3 day jam! Great work!

Satisfying game tbh with juicy sound design/transitions and charming pixel art. I loved the art, seriously.

While the core loop takes a moment to reveal itself, the moment it clicks (no pun intended), it's hard to stop.

Could not get past the first level, but the cell design was refreshing!

The way the game builds its levels using cellular automata gave it a dynamic and unpredictable feel, which was genuinely interesting. However, the lack of clear feedback (and the possibility of start/goal areas getting fully blocked) made it a bit hard to progress.

I so wanted to test it out but I don't know but your game just refused running on my computer, just wanted to let you know before rating as I thought that would be disingenious.

Here's my first game jam game: https://itch.io/jam/patch-notes/rate/3881508
