Pretty good game. the graphics were simple yet effective. I’m not sure how I feel about the TTS voice clips. I get that you were mostly just having fun with it, which is respectable of course, but in the context of the game, I’m not sure how well the voice clips fit…

One weird source of fun was trying to get as far as I could without shooting or using the shield, as many of the green viruses could be avoided with clever spinning lol.

Overall, this is a vert solid entry to the game jam!

Thank you so much for such in depth feedback :D I agree with the voices, and sure it may have hurt my entry a bit, but I was just really excited to use the software as it felt like a one off chance I couldn't ignore! I actually tried the same thing with the spiked aha, I might even make it its own mode I found it pretty fun too.

I liked the duality of the gameplay, it goes the same for the simplistic art style!

However, I was unable to dodge the white walls, I tried everything, maybe I'm bad at your game haha

I like the gameplay and the visual. Took me few minutes to figure out how to dodge the triple white line enemies. Anyway, Good job overall!

I that is such a nice concept! I was surprised how polish this game looks, the gameplay is addictive but also difficult at first hahah

I think this game has a lot of potential, with some a lot of abilities and maybe co-op? (like making a circle bigger so two player could be on the circle) i think this game can have some amazing future

This game has alot of potential you should defintely work on it :D.Here are my suggestions :

-Adding enemy types that are resisten to defending or attacking

-Changing the circles size in some situations

-Maybe diffrent gun types for the red one? :D

My only complaint is the voice gets annoying overtime maybe adding an option to disable it can help?

All really good feedback, I wanted to implement all of them but ran out of time and just wanted to polish what I did have. When I first planned out the game I was planning to make it so the bullets didn't work on a different type of spike but I just ran out of time, its the first thing I will add! Cool concept! I was a bit confused why attacking/defending took advantage of the duality, while dodging did not! But other than that, I can see this as a concept I would like to see as a bigger game with more content! Great work! ✨

I liked a lot your game!

I would add some trail to the enemies and to the bullet as well, would be fast and easy, and I think it would give a lot of flavor to it!

Another thing, I didn't think the blue was useful at all, did I miss something?

I'm so glad you like it that is great :) Trails on everything else I decided against to try and highlight the balls, but I will play around with it a bit more. The blue can be useful in some situation where spikes are coming at you from both sides, but I made it too random, and in a future update I will make it more useful, I might be a bit biased but I also just prefer it because I think it feels nice than shooting! Wow, really well done! The concept of duality and balancing both offensive and defense was really well done, and even having the dodge or avoiding mechanic with "W" in there added even more dimensionality. The colors really added to the overall minimalist design and gameplay felt very polished and enjoyable. I loved the homage to Getting Over It and after getting the trick to dodging the walls it felt unbelievably satisfying to do so successfully. Given a bit more time maybe adding more simultaneous enemies from both sides to force you to attack and defend at once would be really interesting. Great concept and such a well execution only given 48 hours!
