So, I lost, restarted, lost quickly and restarted quickly, which cut off the audio. Game said to me..

Really addictive game with awesome amounts of polish, feel like i could have seen this on the appstore and not questioned it! I still always die to the walls tho :(

Hmm nothings missing but maybe pickups for things like a second wind or some iframes or multipliers would add to the replayability

Cool concept! I was a bit confused why attacking/defending took advantage of the duality, while dodging did not! But other than that, I can see this as a concept I would like to see as a bigger game with more content! Great work! ✨

I would add some trail to the enemies and to the bullet as well, would be fast and easy, and I think it would give a lot of flavor to it!
Another thing, I didn't think the blue was useful at all, did I miss something?

I'm so glad you like it that is great :) Trails on everything else I decided against to try and highlight the balls, but I will play around with it a bit more. The blue can be useful in some situation where spikes are coming at you from both sides, but I made it too random, and in a future update I will make it more useful, I might be a bit biased but I also just prefer it because I think it feels nice than shooting! Wow, really well done! The concept of duality and balancing both offensive and defense was really well done, and even having the dodge or avoiding mechanic with "W" in there added even more dimensionality. The colors really added to the overall minimalist design and gameplay felt very polished and enjoyable. I loved the homage to Getting Over It and after getting the trick to dodging the walls it felt unbelievably satisfying to do so successfully. Given a bit more time maybe adding more simultaneous enemies from both sides to force you to attack and defend at once would be really interesting. Great concept and such a well execution only given 48 hours!

Very interesting game, I was especially intrigued by the narration. Was a bit confused about its meaning until I read about the reference to Getting Over It. Not sure if I missed something, but I just did not manage to dodge the Walls. But besides that, it feels polished already, the simplistic art style was a good choice!
The narration was just a bi of fun really, I wanted to use the software we had available and thought it might be fun :) For the walls, I might need to make it a but easier, but once you line it up correctly you just need to hold the move button down and you will rotate around them in what to me looks and feels like magic :) Hope that helps. really glad you like the art!
Oh, I see! Maybe I just didn't trust holding down a button. Should have listened to the voices and relax a little more. I can imagine how satisfying it is to properly avoid the obstacles in that way!
Once you get the hang of it it feels really satisfying (well I think it does anyway!) I'll be adding more variations to the walls soon so that might hopefully make it easier to learn. Thanks for trying the game :)

This is so simple yet so fun man :). I loved the gameplay overall. Giving the player a choice to be defensive with the red ball or defensive with the blue ball was really great. I also liked how you couldn't move with the blue shield. Really great man :). Loved it overall

I was going for a zen feeling so super happy that comes across! After the jam I'll release an update with a few more ideas I have and I'll see what I can do with the zen feeling :)

Lol it's fine. All the audio in my games is just random ass beeps and stuff so I'm not exactly one to talk
This is cool ! I really enjoy the dodging mechanic and with some music it can really be great (the beating heart sounds made me a little bit uncomfortable)
I have heart that a few times about the heartbeat I will remove it in future versions :) I'll be working on the music more soon. Thanks for the feedback!
