This is very funny to me because this concept was one of the idea I planned to do. I'm glad I choose to do something else instead xD

Nice work !

Haha well great minds think alike :)

A simple little game.  Great art, but maybe I want more effects to let me know the enemy and my state.

And the enemy seems a bit weak XD.

Keep going!

I think a smaller area could help ( or bigger tiles ). With fewer enemies and more predictable patterns it could make for tighter encounters !

Developer

A smaller area is neat idea! Thanks for playing

An interesting and original concept, but that would need more gameplay mechanics to have any difficulty, as for now, enemies don't pose any threat. Could evolve into a really interesting game!

Interesting artwork and music!

This was a great combination of genres man. It's simple and fun to play as well. The only thing the game really needs is some indicator to let me know the direction an enemy might head in. Otherwise, it's really cool. Great job man :)

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad you like it :) thats a neat idea I will look into doing that

Nice Game! Very creative!

Quiet easy to keep alive atm if you are careful, though.

Developer

Thanks glad you liked it, yea with more enemy types it would be more challenging

Submitted(+1)

Very interesting concept! Loved the sound design but got a bit repetitive since it was the same sound each time. The game play felt great. Well done on the submission :)

Developer

Thank you, yea some randomness on the sounds is a good idea

Good Job! Easy gameplay.

Developer

Thank you :)

This is a super clever idea, and I think you executed it pretty well. I also want to commend the interesting turn based nature of everything. It feels very responsive and well thought out. I also adore the cute and simple art style. Nice work!

Thank you, im glad you liked it :)

Developer

Submitted(+1)

Why not an enemy that can moove twice :D

Developer

Neat idea, Ill keep it in mind!

Submitted(+1)

nice job! but i shot myself a lot by moving forward and shooting.

non the less, great entry !

Developer

Aha thats not good, I think i fixed that in my final version but unity corrupted the build so this is a buggy olderversion. Glad you liked it!

Very impressive but why do i spawn off the map?
BTW for the good ob you get 20/20

Developer

Thats odd, you shouldnt spawn off the map. Might be to do with your monitor size and the camera scaling.

Thank you :)

Developer

Trying to work out what the exact problem you had was, Did the enemies move off the bottom of the screen? or only off the sides?

Submitted

in the start in from the sides and in the end under the map

Developer

Hmm okay, did you fullscreen on both itch and the unity player?

Submitted

i didn't click the full screan

Developer

Ah thatd be why! :D Ive put a note to do it in the games description. Thanks for the feedback :)

Submitted(+1)

oh thx now i will try to play it full scream

Submitted

BTW how did you make the turn based game?

Developer

Hope you enjoy :)

BTW how did you make the turn based game?

Developer

I used the framework from a tutorial on inheritance from unity, i think its called the scavengers project. All the units inherit from a moving object class and then they each have their own implementation based on what they do in a turn

Submitted

can you show me a beta script please

Submitted(+1)

Very impressive how you managed to make all the art/sound assets as well within the timeframe. The concept is really intriguing (reminded me of Superhot), but it was a tad confusing at  first

Developer

Thank you! Yea superhot was a bit of an inspo for it,  nice that you noticed :)

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea with a couple of glitches though. You should develop this!

Developer

Thank you, yea the glitches I got rid of but unity corrupted that build so I had to submit this buggy one. I've got a lot more stuff I could add to this!

Submitted(+1)

The idea is really cool, well done

I didn't understand how to kill guys who shoot too but it's a good game ! ^^

Developer

Ah basically have to spam the fire at them. This is a bugged version, I changed it to therye meant to shoot less oftenn but the build where i fixed it got corrupted and i couldnt fix it before the deadline  :(

Not normally my sort of game but enjoyed playing it for a little release!
