Godot Version

Wildcards Used
Good things come to those who wait + Dare to fail

Game Description
Bullet hell, set to home-made 7-beat music for the enemy fire pattern. As a first time Godot user, I made this simple single-level experiment to get to know the environment. Let me know what I can do to improve in the future! (Use Esc after the ending screen to go back to the menu and load a new level.)

Simple and fun, it's a solid submission, good job!!

Our game started out with a similar concept except that we also chose to penalize the player for moving. I think that this works pretty well and it would be really interesting to see how you would have expanded this with more time.

That's a good point -- I considered the idea of having it decay over time during movement, but ended up not implementing that. It could probably use an increase in difficulty overall, including that option and blocking you from hiding in the corners.

Really fun concept, and well executed!

Glad to see someone else building the "seven" theme into the music! That's awesome!

You got really smooth and intuitive gameplay. I'd only recommend to make it far clearer when the game has actually ended. Since the game can be so short, maybe building in stages to the level could make it longer but still engaging? I know you might not have had time for that, but if you're looking to make it longer, that's my suggestion.

Well done!

Very nice idea, simple controls and chaos. Works!

Cool tune, very nice calm spin on n often very chaotic genre!

I think I managed to win...but I'm not quite sure! :D

Good idea! Standing in the corner does seem to be the ultimate solution. Is there more than one level? Also, not sure where the rhythm-based part comes in?

I stood :)

When I see the 'Standstill', is the game over? If so, I managed to reach that first try without moving at all ^^; otherwise, what am I supposed to do?

Decent game but most of the time, staying in a corner is OK to win. I like the menu with the wildcard. Try to improve graphics and sound if you continu to develop it!

I like the way the game looks - good use of the wildcards (and their graphics). But the game screen is kinda big, it doesn't fit on my monitor.

Also the game is kinda boring lol

I think I got really lucky my first attempt and was able to just stand still the whole time. When the game ended I wasn't sure if I had won or not!
