+1 to the timer being a little too punishing 😅
Other than that, you've got yourself a solid puzzle platformer! Love the little character design, especially how he dances when you complete a level. If you're going to keep the timer in some capacity, you probably want to add a restart button as well, since you know if you make one mistake in block placement, there's no way you're finishing the level in time anyway.
One thing that confused me was the different colors for the blocks, since all of the moveable blocks seemed to have the same function, regardless of color?

Hey Patrice, thank you very much for playing and giving us feedbacks :) !! We are planning some new mechanics for that timer!!! And that's a good idea btw, the restart button, gonna discuss about that with the team!! And about the colors at first it was just a art design. But now we are implementing some unique mechanics for each block, for example the red one already have its own mechanic, when you plot it, it becomes part of the map (a gray block).
Really fun puzzle game, very zen feel when i'm not losing xD . My only suggestion is to make it more obvious with which block you can move. Besides that , great game!
The game is really good, I enjoyed it a lot! The only thing I have to say is that the controls are a bit frustrating, especially because of the the very short timer. For example:
- the jump when you hit the ceiling
- the fact that you cannot place a block where you are
- the fact that you cannot place a block up or down (i understand this from a level design point of view, but maybe it only needs to be clear (like drawing the allowed places lightly))
That was a fun game, very enjoyable. That timer gave me a hard time though
Nice and fun platform puzzle, excellent execution.
I'll just suggest to improve the moving indicator of the blocks, maybe make it more noticeable.
That was a lot of fun to play! I do wish there was a 'casual' mode though. I got frustrated constantly needing to retry a level until I finally figured out how to beat it. Makes the win that much more satisfying, but also frustrated the hell out of me hahaha. Great job!
Great concept. I'm a big fan of puzzle platformers. However, and with all due respect, I think the timer is ridiculous. Too little time to appreciate the puzzle. I even found myself losing in the first stage, knowing what I needed to do but not achieving it in the short time span...
If it wasn't for the super pleasant music, I would have been so stressed with the timer hahaha. Really enjoyed it! It was a bit stressful for me. Maybe grading the player's performance on each level, i.e. gold, silver, bronze. Getting bronze allows you to pass the level, but let's you do it a bit slower. Then, for people who love speed runs, they can go for gold or above. Just some of my thoughts. I did really enjoy it!
I struggled quite a bit with the time limit, but that's probably because I like having as much time as I need to process a puzzle - but it's not a bad thing by any means, it really pushes you to keep trying!
Simple mechanics that manage to feel rewarding to pull off and beat the level.
Has lots of room for potential for other mechanics and types of levels!
The level design was nice, and with some more levels, it could be a very interesting game. The pick up and move mechanic was well engineered and I liked the way you made the timer so insistent - you needed to be fast and precise to complete it. I liked the player animations and the simple design, and I'd love to see you do more with this idea in the future. Good job!
I really like the idea of moving blocks to create a path. Sort of Mouse Craft like but it's very different. But I found the short time limit a little frustrating. But hey it's a unique challenge that works good.
Having a pretty standard platformer with the mechanic of using the mouse to move things as you go is really innovative and sweet. I love that a lot. I feel like the timer was a little too harsh occasionally, but I did manage to beat it anyway, so maybe it's ok that way. I'd be interested in combining these fast paced levels that feel like an adrenaline fueled chase sequence with some slower, tougher levels with no timer, but that's just me.
