Thank you very much for trying the game :D I knew the bug of the ladder but had not enough time during the jam. I will fix it in the next version!

I was using the web version

Thank you very much!

Thanks a lot for playing the game. I’m glad it pleased you. I will fix the spikes visibility issue in the next version :)

Thanks a lot. This is how I made the transitions: I have a scene for each face of the cube. Then I have a main scene with 2 CanvasLayer Nodes, each one contain an instance of a scene (the one you are currently on and the next one) and both are rotated correctly. Finally, I have an animation player node that change the scale and position of the CanvasLayer nodes to animate the transition.

Thanks a lot for testing the game, yeah you were not the only one who couldn’t see the spikes, I’ll fix this in the next version ;)

I liked the idea of a sokoban with some twists and the story. I would have fined the game better with smaller levels and being able to hold down a key to keep going in some direction.

The graphics are very good looking and give nice feeling to the game. The enemies are a bit easy and the world is sometimes too big (without anything happening) but I had a good time playing it.

Original and fun idea! Really nice for a first game :D

The game is really good, I enjoyed it a lot! The only thing I have to say is that the controls are a bit frustrating, especially because of the the very short timer. For example:
- the jump when you hit the ceiling
- the fact that you cannot place a block where you are
- the fact that you cannot place a block up or down (i understand this from a level design point of view, but maybe it only needs to be clear (like drawing the allowed places lightly))

Really nice and beautiful game. I liked it a lot. I was not able to see the end since the game crashed with a white screen. I found the text a bit hard to read as I’m not a native English speaker. Very relaxing and entertaining experience!

I love the art style, the animations, the parallax background and foreground. This works really well. However, I think the gameplay is too simple, you can jump over everything and then kill the cat without dodging anything. It would have been nice if the green balls were making more damage and if we had to kill the first enemies.

Thanks a lot for testing the game. I’m pleased you liked the concept. I think the cube rotation animation rotation could be improved to look more like a real 3D cube. The more I read comments on the game, the more I want to make a new version :D. I’m not ready right now to make a full fledged game on my own because I still have much to learn about game design, animations and everything. However, I really want to improve the game to make a more appealing small prototype ;)

Thanks a lot for testing the game. I’m pleased you liked it. I will continue to make games but I’m not sure right now if I will continue this one. I think I still have things to try about this concept and also a lot of things to improve about the game like death animations, attack animation, lights, feedback, so I may publish a new version if I find the time to work on it ;).

Thank you very much for testing the game. At first the player was meant to be a princess in a pollypocket style world but it was too hard to draw for me so I went for the android. The pink dots should have been gems from the dress that attack enemies but since I changed for the android I should have change this too, like automatic guns or semething... Now it really looks like bleeding ;).

Yes the game is finished when you reach the credit, well done ! :D

Thank you very much. Death animations for the monsters is a great idea ! I should learn to do this before the next game jam :)

Thanks a lot for testing the game. I’m happy you liked it. The animation of the dress is not very clear. I changed the theme during the jam. At first it was a princess in a pollypocket style world but it was too hard to draw for me so I went for the android. The pink dots should have been gems from the dress that attack enemies but since I changed for the android I should have change this too, like automatic guns or semething...

Your idea fits the theme perfectly. The main problem for me was the lack of a proper gameplay: collecting the coins only means jumping since the ai is not functional. Except for fixing the ai, you could add plateforms, things to jump above... ;) Maybe you could also rotate the menu so we don’t see it upside down

Merci beaucoup !!

Tu peux l’essayer ici : https://dr-picnic.itch.io/the-mysterious-stones

Thank you very much! I’m happy that you enjoyed the game :D. The source code of the game is available here if you or anyone need it in order to teach: https://github.com/picnic/PICO-8.

I never heard of GDWC but it seems to be a great idea!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the bug report! I'm so sorry that you were not able to finish the game... I deleted a file by mistake just before exporting the game :/. It's fixed now if you want to try the game again ;). Thanks!

Merci beaucoup, ton message me fait super plaisir !

Good job !

Good job !

Well done !
