Very good level design and you realy have original good idea!
I enjoy your game too much!
Really nice solid game. I like the subtle movement animations, and good level design!
Really nice bouncy effects and the game feels great to control, just the right amount of floatiness and player control. Really like all the small animations and particle effects that you used, and the way you implemented puzzles is unique and really fits the theme of the jam.
It's very cool that you get a small jump once you eat an apple, and it's not something that you can control directly. Really makes you think in advance and time your moves properly. Great job!
This was clever. Basically the levels are logic puzzles that you need to figure out. I had the ah-ha moment after a few tries - using the jump that occurs when you power up with the green stuff. Good fun. "Simple" but with actually a lot of design complexity! Well done!
Really cool way to play puzzle game in combination with control precision type of game, perfectly matched the theme :D
I love the gameplay mechanic of sacrificing part of your size to solve puzzles. In my opinion some levels required a little too much tral and error, but maybe that was just me. Good job.
Nice game! The mechanic is nice and well presented, and the whole game has a unique and cohesive feel, with a touch of puzzle. One small concern is that I sometimes didn't have a clear idea of where to go, or where I was in the map, and missing some jump or piece, meant that I couldn't go back and undo it easily, but rather had to restart the level from 0. I think it would help if I could either plan ahead and know what's coming, or make it easier for me to undo my decisions, otherwise I feel "punished" for not predicting what I didn't see in the level.
Overall is a nice game with polishing: the interaction felt good. Well done!
Really glad you enjoyed it, i've got some feedback saying things about the trial and error and stuff you pointed out. I'm plannin on doing something about it. Got some ideas but not much sure right now what to implement.
Thank you for playing it and for the nice feedback :D glad you found it polished and that it felt good to interact ^^
Super fun and clever game, enjoyed playing through all the levels. Great level design and chill music, the perfect jam game!
Whoa Tall Boi! Everything about this is awesome. Cute minimalist art, colors, particles. The concept of getting taller/shorter just to be able to fit in certain passageways is incredibly unique. My favorite of the jam so far.
Very interesting and unique gameplay. Definitely fun and unusual.
All I want to do now is to be smol. <3 So cute! Fun game with easy to understand controls. I like how important the hopping feature is upon getting more height!
The game was a lot of fun, though, there's a bit too much trial and error, especially for the longer stages.
I can see the restart thing is bothering most people, but no problem, post jam i'm gonna think thru something better, like apples respawning but only for jumping and not for growing or something. Would be cool if you could give it another try since it's just 5 levels and you already got to 4th, i undestand that level 4 and 5 are kind of trolling the player a bit but they are short ^^
Thanks for playing it tho and thanks for the feedback, i'm glad you liked the idea and hope you had some fun while playing it ^^
Really nice! It is a fun game. I liked the design of the mechanics, growing and jumping at the same time. If only there was a way to plan the level beforehand, like a minimap or something, it would be fairer for the player.... but I understand that the unfairness is on purpouse :D
