Jogo legal com música adorável

The level design here is awesome.  Nice gradual increase in difficulty. And cool twist in the end with the endless level where I constantly get spawned into the spikes. That was pretty funny, not gonna lie.

Nice game, impressive for being your first one

Thank you, appreciate the feedback :)

Update: The game will be made in the Ren'Py Visual Novel Engine.

Micky Albin is a hardworking potato farmer from the tropical region. He has always lived a peaceful life growing his beloved potatoes. But one day, a new farmer arrives in town.

Scott Duran, with his vast resources and high-tech farming equipment, begins to take over the local markets and drive out the small farmers, including Micky.

Desperate to save his farm, Micky turns to an unlikely ally - Robert Ortiz, a local boy known for his love of food and lazy ways. Together, they embark on a journey to take down Scott and reclaim the tropical harvest for all the smaller farmers in the region.

As they journey through lush jungles and treacherous swamps, Micky and Rob must use all of their wits and skills to outsmart Scott Duran and his henchmen. Along the way, they discover a dark secret behind Scott's success and must race against time to stop him before it's too late.

So far we have two characters, Potato Dude and Banana Man.

Potato Dude:

Banana Man:

I feel like we need at least one more character at this point in the development process. Let's hook up Aseprite and make some doodles.

After a bit of experimenting (childlike doodling), I came up with an interesting blob like shape.

Let's call him Rob the Blob.

Awesome, we now have three characters in our game. Next up, I will probably try to come up with some kind of plot. Stay tuned!

Thank you! :)

So yesterday we made the following sprite:

We called him Potato Dude. For now let's call him that at least.

So we got Potato Dude. I guess we need more characters though. Let's make some more shapes in Aseprite.

I was making some random doodles, until an interesting shape appeared.

It kinda looked like a character with a head shaped like a banana. That works I guess. Let's call him Banana Man.

Awesome. We already have two characters in our game, Potato Dude and Banana Man.

I'm loving this already.

So I was bored and wanted something to do. How about making an indie pixel art game? I am neither a very good artist nor a very good programmer, but hey, let's just have some fun with this thing.

Luckily I have Aseprite already installed on my computer. Most of you probably know what that is, but for those who don't, it's a very handy pixel art software, that is designed for one purpose only, pixel art.

I tried making some shapes.

Hmmm... No, not quite.

Okay, maybe. It's got potential. Let's keep going.

Well, this actually kinda looks like something. Kinda. Let's try again.

Now we might be getting close to something... Let's give it another shot.

YES! That's it! It took a few tries, but damn... I like it.

Let's add some colors.

Holy smokes. I thought I couldn't do pixel art, and then I make this.

This will officially be my first character in my game. Let's call him Potato Dude. He looks kinda like a potato, doesn't he?

Making all this art made me tired, but I will hopefully/probably come back to do more tomorrow. Stay tuned for more of my upcoming game...
