I think that fruits need to flash before they show the spikes, like when they remove them, other than that you got a really cool game

This is great. Takes the game and breaks the rules just enough to mess with you.
I love snake and i love your game, it's really fun and simple to play :D but now I hate squares that teleports and shoots lasers xD

Maybe I just suck, but I wasn't able to get very far at all. The way that the yellow, supposedly safe food will spontaneously turn orange when you're right on top of it and kill you was absolutely infuriating! The game looks very well-made from the clips of later phases that I can see on your page.
Thanks for the feedback! A good way to check if the food is evil or not, is by getting close but not directly try to eat each food. It definitely takes some tries ;)
If it works on mobile and it plays well I'm rating you 5 stars. I've switched to an old nokia a few months back, and I could only play snake. But only a few days ago I got another android device. So I'm missing a proper snake game... I've done one run (not on mobile though), It's not what I expected but it does break rules of snake in a hilarious matter. Not sure if you know how indepth snake really is, but I skip my rating for a bit, there's plenty of time for me to see how you approached the thought processes that people tend to have playing snake, gotta give you extra score for that if that's the case. Thumbs up so far already!
Cool to hear your enthousiasm for the game and the process behind it. I don't think you'll be able to play it on mobile at the moment, I would need to make it compatible with adroid/Ios devices. Maybe in the future I will expand on this game idea and make it into an official playable app.
This is the hardest version of snake I've ever played xD I didn't even make it to the boss. But it's a nice twist on snake, I like it. Maybe add a difficulty option were the snake speed is lower. Cool game!

Don't know if it's because I'm color weak. But I had trouble with the timing of when the enemies grew spikes. Perhaps a flashing indicator would help?

I liked the concept of this game. Never played a snake game where the enemies were firing at you. Would have liked to seen a level system so you don't have to start from the absolute beginning when you die. Nice job!

This was awesome!!! I loved how each power up helped with the next food's ability as they got more complex -i only got as far as the dash powerup but it took a bunch of tries for me to even get that far xD -really challenging and fun -loved it! :D
