How does your game fit the theme?
You are literally playing the entire game by rolling a faceless die. Unlike any other dice-based game (played by chance), here, you can actually control which side of the die you wish to use.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Its a really fun idea! the movement also feels really nice and the visuals are also nice! Good job!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words, Caeser. I appreciate it. Not the smoothest of controls, but I'm glad that you were able to play and enjoy the game the way I setup it.

Very original entry! Maybe the shape of the dice could have been more relevant, for example having to put the dice on the right face rather than going to trigger zones.
I had a great time, I love math challenges ^^

Developer

Thanks, Brikou. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Yes, the game still has a lot of room for improvement. I'll be addressing it soon in a post-jam update. Thank you for playing!

Very well done and was actually fun to play! Good job <3

Developer

Thank you for the noice words <3 I had so much fun creating this as well.  Thanks for playing!

I loved idea. Good job!

by the way could you play and rate my game?

Developer

I'm glad that you liked it. Thanks for playing!

I got 10 points :D

A pretty solid game! Although the point scoring seems to glitch here and there, making the first number of the equation disappear randomly and replaced by a new one sometimes. Also the movement feels a bit clunky. Other than that, feels pretty all right!

Developer

Thanks, Yuuni! Yes, buggy triggers and game physics took away some of the fun in the game. It could be better. But I did write down more in-depth details on how to properly play the game with those known issues in the game description. Btw my high score was 11 :D

Interesting idea, using math to get the goal was fun. The movement though is a bit rough. But a pretty good take on the theme

Developer

Thanks, Agezma. I appreciate it.

Well this was definitely a very nice game not what I was expecting when I saw the nicest game bujt definitely a god.  And a surprisingly good math tool, I know more multiplication tables.  Though... they are multiplication tables, so.. yea.

Though the hitboxes were a little iffy on the numbers.  I feel like on the one hand making it easy to hit the wrong number is a kinda fun twist.  Since it makes it a bit  ore manic in the fact that you can go along diagonals and spin the die a bunch to reach your goal faster.  Though on the other hand it also feels a little annoying when sometimes it doesn't trigger.  So I feel like tweaking that could lead to an interesting risk vs reward scenario.  Also possibly mixing up where each number spawns could be interesting?. Maybe having 6 spawn bottom right instead top right etc.

Other than that though the only thing I would say is having the walls a little bigger, and maybe messing with the physics a bit could be interesting.  Maybe more movement options mixed in with said physics (though thats a bit much, so maybe not).

Overall an interesting a pretty good math game, which is really hard to pull off.  Honestly I'd be interested to see this where you just pick the number and go through math equations to get to that number. But that's a bit much, especially for a jam, could be interesting for a post jam update though.

Btw.  Current highscore of 14.

Developer

First of all, congratulations for being the undisputed king of the Nicest Game Ever challenge :D

Yes, I agree the 2 main concerns I'm getting were the triggers and the game physics. Not the smoothest of all, but it could be better. But others find it interesting, giving them a whole different experience of playing it. Thanks for all the feedback, we'll use it all for post jam fix! Thank you for the little feature, that was an awesome stream!

Haha, this was actually pretty fun! Well done :D

Developer

Thanks for playing. Super glad the you liked it!

It's surprisingly fun rushing to do math operations that result in 69 (nice!) lol and I got a score of 10! I had an issue sometimes where if I kept moving when I reached the number that got the correct answer it would start the next round but wouldn't count that point on my score. Anyway, fun game, funny meme, nice job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words, Alejandro. I think the triggers rigged the scoring for you :D, they were not perfectly setup, but I'm definitely fixing that post jam, for now the best thing I can do is to write more in-depth details on how to properly play the game given those issues.

Sounds good! :)

And you made one it interact with me :D.

The only downside of your game is the part of having to wait on the result that is not clear enough!

Everything else works perfectly and I had fun playing it (and I think you saw that :D).

The only math game I played so far, and I like them!

Developer

Thanks for playing, Woum. I'm glad that you liked it. Yeah, I agree, the triggers are a bit faulty and affect the overall game experience. Thank you for the little feature, that was fun :D

Nice work! First real math game I played from the jam. I enjoyed it!

Developer(+1)

I actually watched you play it live during the stream, but unfortunately I can't hop in because I don't have a Twitch account, I just made one earlier so I can interact with the future streamers in the jam. Thanks for playing and awesome stream!

It's the nicest and funiest Idea for a game possible! Controls could be done better but I realy need to congratulate you on this epic entry!

Developer

Thanks for the nice words, no pun intended :D, yeah not the smoothest of controls, but I think it kinda fits the game vibe. Thanks for playing!

Nice little funny game, haha. The gameplay loop gets a bit boring after a few minutes but that's more than enough for a jam entry, especially done solo. Good job!

Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to refer to it

Developer

Thanks for playing my little tiny game, I'm glad that you liked it :D I'm on your stream during the first couple of minutes, and I wanted to stay longer, but the time difference won't let me. I'm definitely checking it again. Thanks for the little feature!
