How does your game fit the theme?
You must loop through the symbols to sign the contracts (end on the symbol you started), and the whole game is you doing the same task over and over again, which is signing contracts

Really impressive and fun game. The art, music, and sound effects are very good, which made the game feel polished and immersive.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing. Hope you enjoyed. What was the highest combo you got?

Submitted(+2)

Really great idea, and a fun game. Had a bit of a buggy UI on my screen, but other than that everything felt great. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yeah, the UI placement could have used a bit of more of our attention. We had very little time left to get it done. But I hope you were still able to play with the issues.

Really neat idea with some nice graphics and simple gameplay. However, I had difficulties consistently doing chains since it seemed to keep thinking I hit a simple twice when I didn't. Great job though!

Developer

Thanks for playing. How many combo were you able to achieve?

Submitted(+1)

I don't remember sorry!

I really love the artwork and satisfaction that comes with it, definately could see this on a tablet. with a mouse it works well enough. Could be interesting to expand one with the ability to have types of documents that need different inks and extra stuff going on. Really solid work.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yes, a few player did mentioned they enjoyed the game alot of Tablet. I like the idea of different colors inks and go of specific color paper.

Really fun game, kept me long time. It is more fun to play it with a tablet. The whole look and feel and the mechanics with the immersive sound are really well made. Awesome outcome in 4 days!

Developer

Thanks for playing. To be fair this game was made in 2 days. The first prototype we made was not fun enough. It was a plant game where you were managing resources. How was the feel of signing contracts on tablet. How many combo were you able to achieve.

Submitted(+3)

Really nice game!, i love the mechanics

Developer

Thanks for playing. How many souls you collected?

Submitted (1 edit) (+3)

This is a very unique mesh of the three games. I think being able to drag the papers anywhere takes away from the challenge a bit. But overall incredible game!

Developer

Thanks for playing. Oh so wherever the paper is thrown you have to sign the contract from there? Maybe it could be fun but we don't know. We can definitely right it. Or maybe 2 separate buttons, Left for Signing and Right for dragging around?

Wow, what an incredibly ambitious game, I loved all the systems you had, the stations for increasing your multiplier, the system for signing multiple documents, etc. I did have to connect my tablet to play the game with a stylus, otherwise it would have been far more frustrating. I don't know if the game has an end, the scaling per level felt slow, like you only needed a hundred more souls per day? And you lose them all between levels even if you run out of stuff to upgrade. I did have a  bug where the stations stopped taking papers after they were max upgraded? Otherwise I had a ton of fun and if there weren't bugs I'd be still playing and trying for the highest multiplier! (best I got was x11 but didn't get a screenshot). Excellent work, and congrats on getting played on stream!

Developer

Thanks for playing. I was hoping for a few people to rate after his stream. I was so happy. You played with a stylus, that's like fully immersed experience that you got. Yeah every night you have a quota that you need to meet. So every night you have a small timer to meet the quota but you need insane work. I just saw your screenshots. 11X combo is amazing. How about 15X next time?

Submitted(+3)

Awesome job! Just saw Mark play your game on stream so I came here to rate it. Well done :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for playing. We were watching him play as well. Hope you enjoyed the game. What was your highest combo? Mark only explored till 5.

this game with a drawing table would go so hard. Very amazing game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. I hope you enjoyed.

I love card games and this looks awesome! Great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing. It's not a card game though. How were the combo feel?

Submitted(+4)

Perfect marks from me, this is such a sick idea and it’s so well implemented! Using specific points to keep track of the loop is such a clever implementation of the idea, and encouraging you to go for the biggest loops possible really fits well with the cult theme, promising more than you have to give until you’ve run out of time in the hope of a little bit more score. Trying to sign ten papers to get a huge multiplier on a 50-point contract and then screwing up at the last second genuinely made me panic a few times and scramble to make up for all that lost time.

Two days to make this is absurd, I’m beyond impressed. I’d play the hell out of a full version!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing. That was our goal. Personally, during the development when I try making 10-12 combo for testing and if I missed something I had raged quite a few times and then all I did was throw those contracts in the furnace to calm myself down. haha. What was your biggest combo? Were the machines any helpful to your playstyle?

Submitted(+1)

I think the highest I risked going for was 10? The machines were nice at the beginning to squeeze a little extra score out of five-point contracts, but I think they broke when I upgraded them too much: the timers didn’t start ticking when I put papers in them, so they just got stuck.

Developer(+1)

Yeah I have tried for 16. Machine do get buggy at times but I guess it's fine.  The higher combo the more grace time you get.

Submitted(+3)

One of my favorite games this entire jam, huge fan of the idea and chaining together all the papers scratched an itch for me. Can't wait to Completionist++ this game one day

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing. It's a huge compliment that you have given us. You have personally boosted my morale a lot. Yeah we wanted to do something with looping over and over again. Did you like the machines?

Submitted

Yes! was a big fan and felt like once I got locked into a good rhythm it felt really smooth

Submitted(+3)

Drawing lines looked really good. Trying to sign a much papers as possible was so fun.

Developer

Thanks for playing. That was our goal to get people just sign some contracts. Were you able to do combos while signing?

Submitted(+1)

Of course. Signing over 5 letters at once felt really strong.

Developer

Maybe try over 10?

Submitted(+3)

Lovely game! I liked the drawing mechanic and the sound it made. The text was hard to read on my screen and didn't stay within the bounds. Cool concept and would love to see it expanded!

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yeah, the tutorial needed just a bit more work. How many nights did you survive?

Submitted(+2)

Liked it! Got a strong atmosphere and and good gamefeel to it. Multiplier/Signing machines seems useless tho, seems like they made a game harder, rather then just signing manually with a big chain.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yeah, a bit of balancing on those machines would have been better. We had a few more ideas for machines but sticked to these 3. What was your biggest combo though?

Submitted

I guess something like x10, but generally found that making x6, especially when you have 50 souls page is much more meta then using machines.

Submitted(+2)

incredible entry, looks amazing and feels pretty polished for 4 days! Love it

Developer

Hey, glad you like it :D
The game actually got made in 2 days only, as we kinda tumble around during the first 2 day with different ideas

Submitted(+2)

Even more impressive then, we had nothing close to this polished after 2 days! Would love to hear your opinion on our game :)

Submitted(+4)

Incredible ! The art++

Developer

Thanks for playing. Hope you enjoyed. How many souls were you able to collect?

I think the game loop needs work - the first day presenting the entire game loop, combined with being able to complete quotas in 10 of the 60 seconds with no real reward of playing more outside of having fun play the game (due to the upgrades all being surprisingly cheap and under powered) left me now wanting to go until I crashed out. The artwork is stunning though

Thanks for playing. Yeah, I can understand that we missed a bit of proper balancing. Hope you had fun doing combos.
