Thank you for playing! I hope you enjoyed it ^^

Really fun! I liked figuring out the special qualities each piece had, and trying to not knock them over until you got the piece you needed. High score of 84 ^^

Heya! Here’s my game ^^ ty for giving some attention to download games! i’ll give yours a play too

Ty for playing! If you want, could you share some of the bugs you found? I’d like to work on patching and improving what I can!

You were originally supposed to be able to feed the dragon (?) either ashes or magic dust to blow up the whole screen and give you some time away from more ghosts spawning, but that didn’t end up making it in time. Thrilled you enjoyed it so much even with the difficulty ^^

Good suggestions! I could add in the different recipes a little slower, to ramp up how much you need to remember as the game goes on. Getting a balance between informative and flavor text was tough, so that should help out with that ^^

The next scallywag with the gumption to sneak a raspbery galette loses the finger he dips it into his milk with, and he’ll be lucky to see aught but wormcastles for a fortnight, hold the castles!

This game RULES, I love that you use your “cargo” for every single game action, so you’re really trying to skate by with as little loss as possible in every interaction. Charting a course through the different islands was a really fun puzzle, I made a healthy 793 by detouring to drop off filled cookies to the rich people. The hazards were all distinct enough that it felt like I had to get different parts of my brain moving right when I’m already worried about losing morale because my guys won’t stop asking for half-dipped.

It’s so pretty too! The bakery-boat is charming as heck, I love all the funky little guys manning the ports, the storms getting worse the further you get in is a fun touch too.

This game rules and I’d happily play an expanded version! Imagine a version where you cross between multiple maps that change every playthrough. Awesome stuff.

This is amazingly polished for a jam game! Your team did amazing work on the presentation, it’s so cute and peaceful until you realize you built too many buildings to possibly maintain and run out of money fifty cookies short of the last order.

So basically it’s a really good game. You guys did awesome!

Game looks cute, I’ll give it a shot! If you wanna check mine out, here it is ^^ https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3851848

funky little guys groove away from the horrors

fun concept! having some icons on screen to show which guy gets controlled by which key might be nice. made it out with 8 treasures ^^

I missed you, Impossible Quiz. this game rules. the platforming is tight, slamming to press the buttons is really satisfying. the voice acting is 10/10 and i feel like this chef wants me to do something very particular yet undisclosed. i keep seeing it in flashes of lighting in my dreams. he comes to me with white eyes and a gun that shoots knives. i’m scared.

very very silly. loved my time with it.

i’m sorryyyyyyyyyy ;A; godot doesn’t support webgl exports for c# projects in 4.0 and above!!!

A little hard to wrap my head around, but this ended up being a really cool game! It really hits the feeling of being Hackerman.exe, even if I only won my guy a thousand dollars.

just a girlboss burning her bridges

Super fun! great little stealth game, loved hiding behind tables while five overpaid security goobers look around wondering where Greg’s mousepad went. The art was adorable ^^

it was a hard day in the cookie mines but now they call me mister cookiebags

Fun little game! I could see this being lots of fun with some overarching goals to work towards, and having dozens of pickaxes on the screen was really satisfying.

i felt the real fear of a rat in a bakery when blue guy started chasing me down

Fun little game! I liked the extra mechanic of having to find dough to bake into cookies for extra points, you could get some fun levels out of that idea.

how am I supposed to platform with beats this sick come on

Awesome first jam submission! Very strong visual language, no bugs I could notice, and some pretty smartly designed platforming puzzles.

I think if it’s all the same to you, I’ll go ahead and forget Spooky Syringe now.

Really solid game though! Platforming’s good, the secret sure was there, and the closest thing to a bug I found was getting squished by a moving platform moving horizontally gets you stuck crouching until you jump. Great game!

This is super well-designed! I ADORE the level layout, it’s so clever. Putting the first source of flour between you and the cookie portal tricks you into thinking you have to make precise throws with flour while dodging bees to get it back to your kitchen, when instead you could take the time to explore the map and find better spots for it! That time limit is killer for how many steps each cookie has. The high skill ceiling and potential for optimization is amazing.

My only real thought for improving it would be making it a little clearer which object will get picked up when you’re standing by several. Maybe also a way to recover health, like submitting multiple orders at once or otherwise overperforming? Missing even one deadline starts a spiral into scrambling to finish more that gets out of hand very quickly. There’s also a pretty heavy lag spike when putting dough into the oven the first few times.

I love the butterflies. That got a laugh out of me.

Hey all! I’ll be spending today rating games ^^ send them in if you want me to play them!

Check out mine if you like, too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3851848

Fixes are in! Thank you for playing and commenting ^^

Ty for the comment! I’ll look at the dialogue box issue today, and you reminded me to include a cheat sheet on the pause menu!

For the magic cake, you still have to add sugar: I’ll double check the dialogue to make sure it says that. Mixing ingredients that don’t add up to a cake doesn’t have any feedback currently. That’s definitely something I’ll look at adding in the future! Or maybe, half-finished batters that can still accept the rest of the needed ingredients.

Heya! If you’re still streaming, here’s my game for consideration! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3851848 It’s a cute little click-em-up about working in a magic bakery and making delicious cakes by exploding ghosts.

Cute little game ^^ enjoyed it a lot! The aesthetic and feel of the intro scene were really good, I loved the little tavern and town you built out!

Here you go! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3851848 A fun little game about working a magic bakery where you explode ghosts to bake cakes.

Super proud of everyone who participated in the jam. Even if you couldn’t make exactly what you wanted to, you showed up and made your ideas known! Hyped to play everyone’s games for, like, a full week

I did! I don’t think I was supposed to use the pancakes instead of the frying pan at the end, but I sure did. Very fun game, had a blast with it ^^ I didn’t notice the mouse sensitivity option, so being frustrated making pancakes is what made me get out of the truck and explore! So maybe that worked out in the end.

10/10 would pancake again

Plays very smoothly, and the graphics are cute! enjoyed this ^^

I’d love to export it to mac/webgl, I just didn’t have the time to be confident in exporting to more than one platform ^^; it’s for sure a priority in the future!

slay the sandals? swords and spires? either way it’s great! i could see burning through a few rounds of this pretty easily.

Got to round eleven on swift strike, +2 buff, triple strike, then another swift strike! then the game crashed. but still, very fun to figure out what order to drop the new skills in! The twist that you can’t rearrange them is really interesting.

update: i integer overflowed with the source of magic/demon blade/holy sword. this game rules.

I think the highest I risked going for was 10? The machines were nice at the beginning to squeeze a little extra score out of five-point contracts, but I think they broke when I upgraded them too much: the timers didn’t start ticking when I put papers in them, so they just got stuck.

GET OUTTA THE WAY I’M SCALIN’ HERE

this was SO satisfying, it really captures the fun of getting a build together and making choices to keep growing faster and faster. The concept was really funny, although honestly I wish it kept going! Double blood blade on three forges goes nutty, I’m gonna do a run with magic next.

GET OUTTA THE WAY I’M SCALIN’ HERE

Perfect marks from me, this is such a sick idea and it’s so well implemented! Using specific points to keep track of the loop is such a clever implementation of the idea, and encouraging you to go for the biggest loops possible really fits well with the cult theme, promising more than you have to give until you’ve run out of time in the hope of a little bit more score. Trying to sign ten papers to get a huge multiplier on a 50-point contract and then screwing up at the last second genuinely made me panic a few times and scramble to make up for all that lost time.

Two days to make this is absurd, I’m beyond impressed. I’d play the hell out of a full version!

This rules! Keeping track of where your last orbs were so you don’t overwrite them trying to grab motes made this really challenging, I haven’t played enough OSU to say I’m very good at it but it was still fun! I’d love to see this expanded on, either make the shadow motes easier to collect, or alter what kind of attack you do based on the circle you draw. Doing little circles to get the attacks placed where you wanted seemed like the most reliable strategy in this version.

Wonderful little game! launching Birdlynn with a big loop and then catching her felt really satisfying, it’s an awesome gameplay loop! I especially liked the last level, you have to think pretty hard about how much speed you want to get going into each section. Felt like playing Line Rider again!

Really thought-provoking! I really liked where you decided to let it end. You captured the feeling of wishing you could do things differently really well.
