ohhhh it’s so sweet and pleasant! the quality on display here is incredible, this game is unbelievably polished and I can’t even imagine how much stuff I didn’t get to see. Amazing work ^^

that’s such a sweet compliment! i think anyone who makes a puzzle game wants that to be the player’s experience, i’m glad you enjoyed!

ohhh this was amazing! you sidestepped the “running all the way back over and over again” problem by making wiggling the fish around the most fun thing in the whole world, which is a brilliant and subversive design choice that i feel is a stronger adherence to the theme than the actual puzzles (which are very good! but i couldn’t stop wiggling the fish!)

Hey! played your jam game and loved it ^^ here’s mine if you’d like to check it out: https://itch.io/jam/comfy-jam-summer-2026/rate/4693301 Cheers!

Absolutely beautiful, the game’s well made and plays nicely (I haven’t typed so hard since I played Mavis Beacon as a kid). Wonderful music choice and the art is all very pretty, it’s a lovely time just swimming next to giant fish listening to those lovely piano tracks and thinking about the power of direct action to enact positive change. Thank you for making this, it’s probably my favorite game of the jam I’ve played so far.

t-dawg you’re no help and i WILL remember you very fun little game! the dialogue was great, very silly.

Very cute! The art and writing are very charming. Performance is rough on the web build but it’s a simple enough game that I didn’t mind it.

fun puzzle game! i love the look and feel, and i adore bad puns as puzzle elements. Good stuff.

Thank you for the feedback! I honestly totally forgot about the theme until I submitted lmao. I’ll look at adding an animation to draw the eyes to the instructions too, that was a good catch.

Thank you so much for the kind words!

super fun little game! i think i sequence-broke by jumping over the coral before it was cleared out, but that was a fun little reward for getting used to the movement. i’m sure glad i enjoyed my time doing legitimate conservation work for this very proper and legitimate business.

Really fun premise! There were some issues with the movement controls locking up after clicking on the recipe book/cutting board, so I couldn’t finish any recipes.

Very silly, and a great first entry to a jam! sing me your song you funky little guy

Puzzle 2 stumped me. I don’t know who to trust or what a buoy is anymore. Very good game ^^

Fun little game! I’ll be sneaking a playset of Exodia into my next poker game too.

This is really cute! You came up with some really cool platforming challenges with the mechanic, and I really love the sense of humor.

Hyped to hear you enjoyed it! I definitely intended for it to be on the harder side, but I didn’t have quite enough time to tune it as much as I’d like. The attack hitboxes could be clearer, the player character could do with being a little more effective in bigger fights, levels could definitely be shorter/there could be more of them, and units have a tendency to freeze up. The demo level definitely feels like something I should put closer to the end of a finished game.

I was still really impressed with your demo playthrough, though! But I do want to apologize if I ended up landing the difficulty more on the “frustrating” side. I’d love to hear any input you have on that.

made a 12:44 run, fake gamer sorry no but this is seriously high quality! the movement is clean, the sound is crunchy, the levels are tight, the vibe is cool, the blob’s sacrifice will be remembered. Super good, had a blast. I got a little mixed up with the controls, though: jumping and dashing being on different buttons felt a little awkward, I’d try to dash on the ground or jump on the air and get myself killed a few times. i’d have found this on kongregate or armorgames back in the day and played the hell out of it. Incredible work for four days!

Well? Did you find anything?

this is super good for a first jam entry! vibes are great, the art is really striking, what is this freak doing here in my house

Couldn’t find the third ending sadly, but still really enjoyed it!

what do you mean you already made a game and i can pay you real american dollars for it

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO shot out of my chair AT LEAST TWICE. jeeeeez. i don’t read a lot of VNs so this was pretty new, and MAN DUDE AAAGHGHH. i could rant and rave about it it’s so good. I’m already ride or die for the first character. i wanna know what happens next. this is so good.

the art style is SO GOOD too! Your expressions and posing are all top tier, i love how you really push contrast between light and dark in the most intense scenes, and you have these awesome little bits of detail and contrast, like the different fonts for different characters’ dialogue. Instantly amazed and i can’t wait to see more.

the way i CACKLED

this is so impressive! the puzzles are tight, the movement is nice, and throwing these squeaky little guys never stops making me smile.

me when i GET YOU

we’re here to make lives better and teach moral lessons about walking in the middle of the street (you should do it and there won’t be any consequences)

really fun little game! I’m really impressed at how many minigames you squeezed in in such little time.

Wonderfully touching. Serious props to the art and music, they’re beautiful.

wow! now i can finish dying happily with all of this money i don’t have anymore. i’m truly fulfilled : )

i can’t believe i went to hell for real (in minecraft) (for real)

Fun little game! Level five’s puzzle is really clever, i enjoyed it a lot

This one bugged out a bit, I think it didn’t like me trying to skip the intro cinematic on repeat tries, but I really enjoyed the presentation! That opening narration was awesome, big props to your VO!

amazing game! the details are crisp and pretty, the sounds are nice and chunky, the puzzles are thought-provoking and make you reconsider how each level is designed, how your characters behave, all that fun stuff. you guys did awesome <3

Found a bug though, in the seventh level, getting a skeleton killed in the left spike pit gets it stuck inside of the platforms. Rules it out as a solution to the puzzle, at least!

art is already my favorite of the jam, the CRT fuzz and glare really put me back in a poorly lit living room playing plug-and-play consoles in the mid 2000s. gameplay was super clever too! awesome take on “who you die as matters”

Awesome take on the bodies-as-platforming-things problem! limiting you to three and replacing the oldest made for some really fun puzzles. Visuals are awesome too! The vibe goes crazy

Super good puzzle game! Last one got me good.

Hey all! Huge congrats for making it through the jam. My birthday’s rolled around so I wanna spend today playing a bunch of different games, put em here and i’ll do my best to play them!

While you’re at it, try mine: https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3937744

Thank you for playing! I hope you enjoyed it ^^

Really fun! I liked figuring out the special qualities each piece had, and trying to not knock them over until you got the piece you needed. High score of 84 ^^

Heya! Here’s my game ^^ ty for giving some attention to download games! i’ll give yours a play too

Ty for playing! If you want, could you share some of the bugs you found? I’d like to work on patching and improving what I can!

You were originally supposed to be able to feed the dragon (?) either ashes or magic dust to blow up the whole screen and give you some time away from more ghosts spawning, but that didn’t end up making it in time. Thrilled you enjoyed it so much even with the difficulty ^^

Good suggestions! I could add in the different recipes a little slower, to ramp up how much you need to remember as the game goes on. Getting a balance between informative and flavor text was tough, so that should help out with that ^^
