Yeah, that's totally fair and we realized that as well. The idea was that you had a limited number of launches so that you would want to make the most of every launch regardless of whether you finished building your ship. The problem is that we gave 30 launches, which is wayyy more than you need lol.
Thanks for playing though, hope you enjoyed!

this game is super fun. I think you already know the game isn't very hard, but i had a really great time regardless. The driving is really well done, i love how insanely fast the car went. I was just flying around and jumping over trees lmaoo
Also I like how you did the mini map hehe, pretty clever.
Really nice job overall, well done!
Thanks for playing, we appreciate the feedback!
It's intentionally difficult to control your ship in the early gameplay, and as you unlock more parts, options open up. It definitely requires some creativity though! A bit more explanation/intention in the map design would be our next focus if we continue developing for sure. Feel free to checkout the description for the game, it has some example designs on how to achieve movement in 2 ways and how they could potentially be improved.
thanks!!! We had so many ideas for other ship parts, and even planned multiple asteroid rings that you'd progress through. It's a gamjam though of course so we had to compromise. Might be continuing on this in the future though!
Out of curiosity btw, did you end up breaking through the asteroid ring with a gun, or did it naturally open up? It's not meant to move but pretty rarely 2 asteroids clip into each other and explode it open lmao
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!
The beginning is hard by design; we wanted the player to get more and more maneuverable as they get more parts. I definitely wish we made it clearer that right-click is what rotates components though...
A counter for glorbos killed is a greaty idea haha. Also yea i was aware of that thruster bug, didn't have quite enough time fix it sadly.
Thanks for playing!!
It's definitely a challenging game, but you can actually make a ship that's pretty maneuverable if you place the thrusters well! I just updated our page to include example ship designs. :)
About rotating: yeah, I really wish we put something to explicitly mention that. It's also in the description now, so hopefully that helps in the future.
Thanks for playing!!!
Glad you enjoyed it :D
For the salad game, the objective is to actually just spin the spoon in a circle X amount of times. It does say in the beginning "Spin in a circle", but we have noticed many people thinking you need to remove all the veggies. Some more clear instructions would definitely be our next step haha. Thanks for the feedback!! Loved your game as well btw :)
I am in shock at how incredible this game is. EASILY 5 stars across the board. This is my favorite game from any jam i've ever been a part of. The entire experince is so polished, the level design is so clever and well thought out. The art is adorable, the sounds complement everything perfectly. The fact that you even have a complete story that calls back to the beginning is crazy. If this isn't featured in Mark's video is a genuine crime.
Please expand this into a full game, I really think you have something special. Well done!!!!
