I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
Nice
nice
By the end I felt like I was a peedrunner getting practice in with how I was memorizing that second room lol. Very cool, love the atmosphere
Very creative idea! After being stuck for a bit at the tripwire part (I knew I had to disable it somehow but couldn't figure out how for some reason), I managed to complete the game in 18 minutes and 14 attempts. The game is well-polished, both the art and the sound are of excellent quality! Good job!
Scorpion King wasn't that bad... ok it was pretty bad. Nicely done!
I really enjoyed the game its one of the best story games in the jame if its not the best one :3
9.25/10
(play my game if you are not busy)
Ohh this Back to the Future reference!
A very enjoyable game, and I especially like that your take on a loop mechanic feels very smooth and comfortable — you feel engaged to go on and explore more possibilities and dangers, as both of them seem fun :)
The art style is awesome, the main antagonist is quite charismatic in particular! And the little detail with the names on the wall is also impressive.
I can't think much of any suggestions as everything seems solid. One minor comment is that it is not immediately clear that there are several items in the sink cabinet — they look like a "whole" because of the similar colors and I didn't expect it to be more than one thing :)
5 out of 5!
really nice
I died from the lamp! Nice puzzle! keep up the good work!
I would love your rating to my game!
Really silly and fun, I loved this kind of point and click game hahaha
Stopped to see the spelunky callout before i escaped ψ(ψ(`∇´)ψ
Great sound and graphics, I really enjoyed this!
I loved it so much, and so looked forward to playing it when I saw the WIP posts in the discord! It was really awesome, and such a unique concept. I love the pixel art, especially the choice of palette and the detail into the inventory items. The SFX were also great too (though the coin SFX was a bit too loud heh). I feel like the length and amount of puzzling was just long enough for a satisfying experience in a jam game! The jumpscare man was scary though D: .
I think my main little thing I’d like is I wish a few more of the solved puzzles would persist from run to run, and the escape room door was a bit more obvious when under thebed. But overall, amazing experience :) .
This is wonderful in every way! The art style and sound is really well done, and each room has interesting dialogue and puzzles. Nice work! The guy past the trip wire genuinely jump scared me haha.
Love the idea of a looping point and click! Very creative, good color palette + artstyle too
1.21 jigawatts! Amazing work on this one - I was glued to the screen from start to finish. Beautiful artwork, sound design, and writing.
I like the game in general, but the first time I interact with anything I expect to understand it, but I get an immediate result: instant death. that's not nice.
Your storytelling really hooked me right away, and those visuals are top-notch. Can’t wait to see where you take this next!
Amazing narrative! Loved the art as well. You did a really great job on this.
Loved it, really fun and beautiful game, and the concept that the 'loops' are other people who died and the progress saving was brilliant. My only nit pick (slight spoilers don't look unless u've played lol) was that after stabbing his foot, leaving via the arrow kills you, which lead to me getting a bit stuck as I didn't realise that that didn't count as escaping lol
Finally beat this! I thought the great style was really cool. I thought the use of the theme was cool. I imagine that if this was a longer-term project, you could go much deeper into the loop mechanics.
A super solid adventure/point n click game. I really really loved the art style. I also genuinely liked the puzzles. Often time with point n click games, there are one or two puzzles that have very convoluted solutions that do not make a ton of sense. I am happy to report that no such puzzles exist in this game. Every solution made logical sense and felt in line with what I expected.
Also props for getting me with the jump scare more than a few times.
Overall, very fun.
