Amazing!! Very chill and charming. The only feedback is that I wanted to collect more orbs before start to planting or like one mouse button to collect and other to plant. Just something to give the player more control on what to do.
Lucky for me, I played Balatro recently so I wasn't so lost with the poker rules haha. Great game, it was a good mix of RNG and strategy and felt very polished.
I've been doing game jams for about two years now. It's a great way for me to stop procrastinating on coding more outside my work and practicing pixel art (because I love it) and actually get something done ^^
Amazing stuff!! Silly and charming artwork, sounds were on point. Overall very polished. The gameplay was engaging and fun with the mix of the slot machine + minigames. Great job.
Oh, I didn’t know Itch had an app! It looked like the downloaded version because it shows the original file names for the game, 'potion-beat' haha. But thank you for playing! That was my initial plan for the arrow, but I didn’t have time to implement it. T_T
Yeah, it really is a bit too punishing :( I had another idea to make it less frustrating while still keeping on theme, but unfortunately, I didn't have the time to implement it. And no, I'm not a musician! Hahaha I even tried making my own music for this jam because I wanted something very specific with guitar sounds, but the only ones I found were AI-generated. So I gave it a shot... but wow, it's so confusing!
I completed the game! Awesome art, a good pixel art always has my heart. I would like to see the part where you are given a description and you have to shoot the right person be explored more, as it was the part of the game I enjoyed the most.
