How does the game fit the theme?
In MARS, an astronaut who's tired of it all grabs his bathtub and launches himself down the Martian hills. It’s a wild ride where, well, everything that can go wrong might just do!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made everything myself except for the PBR material used for the Martian ground texture.

Very fun and addictive game! It would be great if the coins could be spent on some improvements or skins. Adding a leaderboard to the game is a great idea! This makes you play just out of a desire to get on the list :D
I'm going to assume there might be something wrong with spawning sounds? Eventually the sound just stopped. But man, I felt like a badass going downhill in a TUB of all things. I imagine this is what Mark Watney dreamt about in the Martian, or hell maybe even did. Colliders were missing on some walls and I just rolled through there, but hitting them rocks and getting that sick are time was great. I'd of loved to see some silly names of moves on Mars haha. Great work!
This game was so much fun! I like the chaos and nonsense of everything!:) I think you could improve the mechanics, for example it's not obvious why I should use a double jump that rotates me (but it was fun anyway). Also, the coins look kinda artificial, there was no real use for them in the game. The theme doesn't feel very well presented either, but that's ok, the game was still really fun!!
Yes, you can spend coins on some absurd upgrades, like buying Curiosity to make it easier to slide on its wheels...
Double jumping can improve your score, like in scating games... Epic tricks (hitting a cow brought to Mars by aliens) also increase your score.
You can also add random events, such as a Martian invasion, so there is room for your imagination!

Good points:
👉Addictive game, love it ! You just want to play more and more. Good mechanics and very well executed. The game is goofy and a bit trolly, I love it !
Bad points:
👉The textures are a little bit strange. Optimization doesn’t seem to be the priority (or maybe it's just my bad PC), but when I reach 100,000 points, it feels more like a slideshow than a game. Maybe delete the paths that we've already used or disable some shaders. Also, the bathtub breaks a little too efficiently ; maybe it needs more time to break. To finish, this game need a music and sound effects.
That’s all from me ! Check out my game and rate it if you want, it’s all up to you.
Amazing game man, really enjoyable atmoshpere. Loved the whole vibe !
Would've loved to hear that music throughout the game, it was so good, but there's a bug that stops the music after a few seconds of gameplay. Other than that I enjoyed the game.
Also, I'd appreciate your time on my game as well, Thank you!
Super cool game! Especially when i found out what space does! I hit the creaziest mlgs! A small problem with the audio! Nice game overall!
the feeling of "i will not make it" and "oh i made it" was fun :D
Holy cow, that was fun! Physics, speed, giant space rocks, crooked trees... and adrenaline. Loved it!
yooo this was awesome!! :D i loved it even tho i wasn't the best LOL
Hey Zonelle, glad you found the game fun! And yeah, I totally should have made the coin pickup sound more satisfying. The high scores are actually working, but I forgot to add any feedback when submitting—so it always says "New Highscore," which is a mistake on my part. It only displays the top 10 scores, so if you want to share your nickname, I can check if your high score got recorded. But it most likely did!
