Ranked from 33 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme "Nothing can go wrong" by giving the player the illusion of control—every joke and decision seems harmless at first, but can lead to unexpected and disastrous consequences. What starts as entertaining the court quickly spirals into chaos, power struggles, or exile, proving that everything absolutely CAN go wrong.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code was written from scratch during the jam. However, I used some assets from open sources, but every single one of them was modified, combined, or edited to fit the game’s style and mechanics.

How many people worked on the game?

Funny and original, I just wish there were actual consequences to the decitions.

Interesting game, the art style is the best part of the game imo. My main feedback would be to improve the gameplay, even if it's just adding more indicators to the player of what consequences/rewards their actions are giving as often I felt like I was sort of choosing at random which made me lose interest. I appreciate your storytelling though, and the endings I did get were amusing.

No lights, no music ? Just JESTER !!!

An interesting approach on the "Reigns" genre!

Love the artstyle of the game, unfortunately game balancing is super important in games like these, the choices barely impact the game which makes it seem like it's impossible to get to an ending unless you make dozens of correct choices.
There's also no numerical display of the different values / stats, which makes it hard to say how much impact our choices have.

Still, love games like Reigns, with a little bit of tweaking this game could be very fun, I hope you do end up balancing it out! DM me on Discord if you need help with it i'd be happy to contribute :)

Really fun concept, and I enjoyed picking different results to see the different answers! I think it can take a little too long to get to an ending with the current valeus of how the choices impact your favor with any of the three groups, but it was a fun journey to go on!

A solid game with cool choices and paths. Really nice art style, plus the sound design was also very satisfying, Great job!

I had fun trying out different paths, though I'm not sure when the game ends. Good writing though, nicely done!

Great concept,  but wish your choices have a greater impact - you need to pick many options in a row to get any ending.

Concept! Art! Gameplay! Such a polished game!

I love the minimal art style in your game — both the cards and the background scenes are so well-crafted! You executed it beautifully, creating a clean and cohesive aesthetic. Excellent work!

My team came up with a similar game idea but chose not to make it. You executed this very well so Im glad we did something different :)

Amazing art! Would love to hear some old medieval music! Like a lute or harpsichord. The background noise helps sell the mood.

Interesting idea. Wonder how many endings there are?

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. The game currently has 6 endings!

Enjoyed the game! Also noticed a funny reference, overall it took a lot of choices to get towards an ending, but worth it! Nice job on the game :)

It's always a joy to read that someone played out the ending! I'm glad you liked it. Thank you and good luck at the jam!

I really liked the visual style of the game and the good animation, it was a very enjoyable game, I had to make a lot of choices, it was interesting.

Thank you for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed it! For animation, I used DOTween at the first time in my life. It turned out that this is a very cool tool.

Love these styles of games! I felt there could have been a bit more to break it up, as i had to make a lot of choices to reach an outcome -- but it worked great!

Balancing the game turned out to be the biggest challenge for me, but I'm glad that even so you liked it! Thank you so much for your feedback!

Good game, only one bug, if you spam click, weird things happen.

Developer

Hahah, I was hoping that no one would check it out: DDD
