How does the game fit the theme?
Monarch is a strategic clicker where you manage your kingdom by balancing resources. At first, everything seems under control—NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG...... but as time passes, Every click shapes the fate of your rule—will your reign last, or will your kingdom fall in the blink of an eye? Keep your people fed, your army strong, and your faith unshaken… or face ruin.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I created most of the code and assets from scratch during the jam.
Sound effects are created from sfxr app.
Some UI items are not mine, but obtained from free asset packs on itch.io.

Visuals and gameplay are good. but maybe make sound slider for the next game - music is good, but sound effect on button presses are hurting my ears. All in all nice little game.

Really nice, simple game. I like the retro art style, the game feels polished(things like the screen shake really add to the experience) .
