Nice graphics and gameplay, the music is a bit repetitive.

Pretty fun to play. Good job!

The tune is a real bop! Had lots of fun, going to come back <3

This was an excellent game, and a unique take on the jam's theme! Your pixelated graphics were charming, and your UI was extremely elegant (Hands off to your girlfriend for making them). You also had some really well done post processing and they really highlighted things and made things look great. You've also got some absolutely fabulous transitions that I love so much, and your gameplay was innovative and fun.

The only thing I would suggest is that the gameplay feels a tiny bit too slow; it would be really nice for it to ramp up a bit more over time (for example introducing new blocks or increasing the speed).

This is a super cool submission and I had a great time playing it. Best of luck to you for the rest of the jam!

Developer

Thank you very very much for your feedback and your kind words! We are considering adjusting the pace of the game and adding more variations to the materials once the voting for the GMTK GameJam 2021 ends.

Also best of luck for the rest of the jam!

Hello (Minim and Myx from the discord here)!

We liked how easy it was to understand and interact with your mechanics! The varying kinds of block and the progression with fewer blocks appearing as you go felt nice.

As for improvements it'd be nice with more feedback on the different block's mechanics, some of them were obvious while other were trickier to grasp.

And most importantly we scored 14,522 points, fight us!

Developer

Thank you very much for your kind words and feedback. Sadly due to the time constraint of the GMTK GameJam 2021 we did not fully implement all materials (some were even left out of the game entirely). We are considering adding them into the game after the voting for the GMTK GameJam 2021 ends.

Thats the highest score so far we have heard about. We should have added a leaderboard to keep track haha!

super solid little game, took me a few try's to get into the swing of things but kind of zen when it is all flowing nicely

Interesting game to play, I really like the concept and tension building up when you notice there's not enough blocks.

Submitted(+2)

Nice.

I'm not entirely sold on the prop blocks, since it can result in Bob falling behind a bit. My over-reliance on them ended up causing my downfall.

Juggling blocks forwards is a pretty fun way to have enough blocks to move forwards. An animation/particle effect for the TNT would be good. I didn't put enough effort towards moving TNT outta the way, so I had to rely on the prop blocks I had retained.

Fun game. The little indicators for unstable platforms is really quite useful, and really helps out with gameplay.

Developer

Thank you very much for you feedback! Sadly due to the time constraint of the GMTK GameJam 2021 we did not finish the TNT and had to leave out a few other special blocks. However, we are considering to add them into the game after the voting for the GMTK GameJam 2021 ends!

fun game! starts off simple and gets challenging quickly, great job! :)

very interesting idea, cool graphic! but i dont have much fun playing it, bcs i like more dynamic games..

still, game is very cool!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. Sadly due to the time constraint of the GMTK GameJam 2021 we made some mistakes and accidentally forgot to implement the pace change with the rising score. But we will adjust that after the voting für the GMTK GameJam 2021 ends.

Amazing game!
You quickly run out of blocks and go into "damn, I will fall in a moment, made it!" loop which feels amazing.
Presentation is flawless, although nicer tutorial, maybe interactive one would be nice. But I do know that it's hard to do during a jam.
Audio was fitting and I enjoyed it a lot.

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback and kind words! We will keep that in mind and might improve the tutorial after the voting for the GMTK GameJam 2021 ends.

This was extremely fun to play. The music was so nice and relaxing. The pixel art was absolutely fantastic. "Keep it up!"

Developer

Thanks a lot for your kind words!

This was a lot of fun to play! :D A nice take on the theme and quite challenging sometimes :0

Developer

Thanks a lot!

I like it! The sprites look good and everything has nice bouncy animations! Though honestly the music might get a bit repetitive. It seems to lend itself well to expansion, I feel it wouldn't be too bad to implement more types of blocks to interact with. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your kind words! We added two buttons to the top right where you can mute the entire audio or only the background music for this exact reason.  There were actually more materials planned (and are already textures and animated), yet due to the time constraint of the GMTK GameJam 2021 they did not make it into the final game. We might add them in after the voting ends!

I love the soft color scheme you guys went for despite it having a construction theme! It's very warm and inviting.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! I will forward your words to my partner in crime who was coincidentally the artist of these lovely textures.

Great art-style,

Excellent potential for a mobile release!

Developer

Thank you! After all the positive feedback we've received so far we might consider polishing it a bit more and making it mobile ready for Android and iOS!

Submitted(+2)

This is so beautiful and polished. I love the design and the freedom to complete it in my own unique way. More content than I'd expect! Hm..I never did get to see what the TNT did O.O

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your kind words! Sadly it is not 100% polished as, for example, the TNT has no animation or sound when going off. The TNT and TNT-Trigger appear randomly throughout the game and once you step on a TNT-Trigger all TNT that is currently used in your scaffoling will explode and destroy all adjecent materials immediately!

Hi! I love this game's gameplay, art, and music! This is one of the best games I've played so far! Keep it up! Congratulations making this within 48 hours!

Developer

Thank you very very much for your kind words!  This was our very first Game Jam and GMTK Game Jam. That was some intense experience making a game in 48 hours for the first time!

Occasionally tense but could use a faster pace. Beautiful.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for your feedback! We will keep that in mind and adjust it once the voting for GMTK 2021 ends.

Submitted(+2)

Wow, that was tense! I think this one needs only a little bit more work before it goes to the mobile industry. I can already imagine tons of people sliding blocks around. Killer idea and awesome implemetantion.l

Developer

Thank you very much for your kind words! This was the very first GameJam and GMTK GameJam we've participated in. We've made quiet a few mistakes on the way, but the result speaks for itself!
