Really good, I definitely think there is more that could be done with this format but it'd be unreasonable to expect more in such a short time period of course. I liked the jumps where you had to swap mid-air. I think a little work on the way collisions work would make the platforming a bit more pleasant, such as how all vertical momentum seems to be killed when you collide with an obstacle. Also, really liked the decision to have the music kick in as you neared the end of the game, that was a nice touch.

This is wildly impressive that you managed to make a first-person platform puzzler in just 48hrs, it looks good, has a great atmosphere, is just a nice time. The only things I'd say were that the movement and collisions could definitely use some work, very easy to get stuck on or in things, and many jumps you sorta have to trip up, I also think it would have been awesome to have music playing throughout the entire thing, some sort of nice quiet relaxed track, but, something to build on the already present atmosphere, perhaps even one for each mountain?
I quite liked how smooth the transitioning between peaks was, and the hint system designed as chalk or paint on the rocks looked great and worked pretty well, the only thing that wasn't terribly obvious was interacting with things, having some sort of pop up or other visual indicator when you are hovering something you can interact with would be nice.
All in all, I really enjoyed my time playing through it, even if at the end it is suggested that my player on finishing his mission was promptly crushed between the mountain peaks XD
Really fantastic work!
Unfortunately any game made with the old input system is for some reason almost unplayable on my PC. (correct me if I'm wrong, and you in fact used the new system?)
I wasn't able to play through to solve it, (movement is basically impossible for me) but I at least got it to flip the world and that was pretty dope! I can appreciate the uniqueness and cleverness of the idea! Well done! I love the menu screen!
Really well designed and executed game for a game jam, even for a non game jam game! the flipping mechanic is so cool and solving puzzles dealing with that is really fun. I'm also a fan of subtle leading the player like with the blue paint you did. Fantastic job.
Really cool game! I like the 3D art style and the changing of the season is a great mechanic that I haven't seen yet this jam, great job guys!
The idea and most of the execution is awesome! My main critiques are that the movement could be improved a bit ( maybe even some increased jump height could be good), and that it seems pretty easy to get lodged in between stuff.
Other than that, the idea is super cool and the animations and sounds really make the whole thing feel pretty slick
The art and presentation on this game is gorgeous. There are a couple of points where when swapping I could clip through some of the geometry, but with short amount of time available this is totally understandable. Great work!
This game is beautiful! Very original take on the theme. I love the graphics, the music, and the switching mechanics. My only complaint is movement - it felt a bit clunky. But otherwise fantastic game! :-)
Really nicely polished game! I got a bit lost a few times so maybe some torches or campfires that indicate the best route would help but other than that this is a really nice short and sweet 3d platforming game! The animations and aesthetic are really nice and smooth and very impressive considering it was all done in the 48 hours. Great game!
The game looks spectecular and it was a nice experience to reach the top. Loved the little animations and sounds as well. Gameplay-wise it could have done more and the controls felt awkward sometimes but overall great job!
There's just something about this game I love. It vaguely reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in a way. The art style is very simplistic, and yet it's somehow refreshing, and is reminiscent of cel shaded art. This also gave me a lot of idea of how it could be expanded into a multiple level game, like Ice Climber. Great work, and I hope you'll expand on it in the future.
Absolutly LOVED it. Great concept, Great execution, great level design.
This game definetly deserve to be played by way more people.
Little tiny microscopic feedback : Jumping too close to a wall makes you kinda stick to it and can make it a bit frustrating for some obstacles, maybe reduce the stickiness of the walls a little bit to make the experience even smoother.
Great work, hope to see more games like this one.
The visuals of the game are amazing! The idea of connecting two different dimensions and switching between them to progress is also very interesting!
I had a few problems with the controls though, my character would get stuck in rocks/tress and sometimes would clip through them, and when it would fall down sliding down a rock, it would go very slow. I think the character controller needs some improvements
Other that that, this was overall an awesome entry to the jam! Great job!
THE COUNCIL WILL DECIDE YOUR FATE
I really loved this game. Amazing job!
This was a really fun play. The it took me a minute to realize i was supposed to interact with the hourglass. Maybe some visual feedback or tutorialization would help here. After I figured that out I was blown away when I first "joined" the crystals "together". Really cool way of incorporating the theme. I will say that the colliders were pretty rough on the 3d platforming, especially on the elevators.
Overall I had a lot of fun playing this game!
