Really cool game. I love the mechanic that you have 20 extra seconds when one player dies to catch extra bees. The art is simple and looks great. Fun game!

How does your game fit the theme?
Both players are joined by a net and have to move together. The goal of the game is simply to catch the butterflies and bees using your net and avoid getting stung. This game is best played by two players, but you can try test it solo if your have good hands coordination.

I like the changes in music for the final rush! I enjoyed the pulling together when we got too far apart. It was a little hard to tell when a bee stung me or when I caught a bee though. Great work!
Game : "Catch the butterflies and the bees."
Me : "Oh, a cute little game !"
Me, 5 seconds later : "WHAT HAVE I DONE T_T ?"
Nice little game ! I enjoyed the concept : simple but efficient =).
xD Oh my god they explode and die. very cute game, I feel like if I had someone else here to play with me it would be a lot of fun! My hand eye coordination isn't good enough to move both at the same time very well lol
Reminded me of the Flash-era games.
Well done.
BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.
It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

Funny theme, gameplay is good but hard to pull off, sometimes it was too easy, sometimes too difficult.
Would have been nice with a clearer difficulty curve, maybe waves system? the bees were kinda hard to predict/avoid. Some more balance in the spawning rate and more anticipation for enemy movements/behaviour is also needed.
Right now, the mechanics i think also get old very quickly, there is no new discovery or surprises over time, so the gameplay is "short".
Hopefully, that makes more sense :)
I got decapitated with 26 points haha. I played this single player controlling both character, which I'm not sure made it easier or harder. It took me a second to realize I was supposed to be killing the bugs. The first few splats were alarming haha. Once I got the hang of it though, I really enjoyed it. Simple and fun concept, and I love the goofy animations! Well done.
This is soooo silly! I love it!
Even while playing alone, this is a lot of fun. The losing animation makes no sense at all (except if maybe the characters suffer from EXTREME allergies to bee stings), but it somehow fits perfectly into it all. It's just a fun mini-game, nothing bad to say! ^^
Very good job!
Love the use of the theme on this game! Was really fun! Loved the pixel art and use of colours! and the music and changes that happen when you lose is amazing! Chefs kiss! Great work! :D
hehe, that was fun when i could play with one guy after second one was killed:)
game is nicely done and fun to play! nice job!
i think i was playing how i should, but caught butterflies were leaving bloody stains after being caught - it looks a but cruel, maybe you can replace it with something 'nicer'
Interesting concept well done! Maybe some explanation in-game would have make the game easier to understand (I struggled a bit to understand the goal) 😁
I didn't have anyone to play with so this game was a little awkward, which was expected. I still liked what you had going especially with the spring back when you extend the net too far.
On a more flavor note my initial thought was "man why did that butterfly leave a pool of blood." Then one of my guys lost their head and everything made sense.
So cute! The music is so nice! Definitely recommend playing with a friend
Watching people play this on streams is hilarious! Good job!
I think this was really nice for a jam game- many people did rope mechanics, but this was actually fun. And it has a twist at the end, great!
