Your game is great, the pixel art is fantastic and the game is a lot of fun to play. It's also presented extremely well. The only bit of feedback that I could suggest is mapping the shoot button to a key on the keyboard as opposed as the mouse isn't really needed in the game for any other gameplay, and perhaps some more feedback when shooting the enemies (maybe a red flash). Excellent job! :)

How does your game fit the theme?
Robojoin is a Robot with the special talent to split into two, and join back together! They can control both parts independently. Legs can jump higher, and the upper body can crawl into tight spaces. Joined together, Robojoin can shoot their eye blaster!

Beautiful art, and really fun and creative gameplay! I'd definitely call this a Neat Game!
Wow, really cool idea, with nice levels and pixel arts too! Nice works!
Love this game, reminds me of nitrome. I would suggest changing the control scheme though. W for jumping, space for splitting, and tab for switching between leg and head.
The art, gameplay, and music was phenomenal! I got stuck (Literally). I tried connecting my robot back up when the head was in a one tile space, and the legs were just outside of it because they can't fit. When I reconnected, the robot was stuck in the one tile space and he couldn't get out. When I tried disconnecting, the legs couldn't get out. Maybe make it so that you can't connect when your head is in a one tile space?
Impressive work achieves in 48 hours. You deserve a top 100. Really complete game loop nice job.
One of the best of the jam, just an absolute blast to play. A bunch more levels and a narrative and you've got a proper game right there!
I loved the look of your game and the platforming felt very smooth! something broke my first 2 times trying to plat where i ended up with 2 sometimes 3 robots and had to refresh the page to get the game working. but all around when it was working it was fantasic!
Hey Nick. Some feedback:
- Robots kept duplicating themselves.
- Jump feels too heavy.
- Gameplay feels kinda repetitive.
Could not beat the game due to the duplicating glitch.
It's a cool idea, but it get's a bit repetitive. The visuals are great though! Just to warn you, I think I found bug because when only one part of me fell into a pit, I respawned as two full robots.
I liked the aesthetic a lot. The concept has been done in other games but it felt really good.
I seem to have found a bug where the player duplicated and I ended up with two full bodies, but it only happened once at the start
The game was really good! Easy to understand and it has great art
This was such a fun game that immediately brought to mind classic titles like Metroid! I loved the attention to detail with the graphics, and the core mechanic with the robot was really solid and fun and led to some neat level design. I did run into a few bugs, though I can imagine that with that 48hr clock ticking down it must have been hard to find all of them in time. Overall it was a really fun game that I enjoyed a ton!
By the way, we played your game on our stream tonight!
I liked how you explored the differences between being joined together and not.
It may just be me, but Iโd find it easier if the tab key switched between the robot parts, I believe Tab is more natural than looking for the number keys.
Apart from that, good level design and amazing aesthetic :).
Really good - I was expecting a boss in the end of the game, would love to see what you do with this game if you continue development. Good job, nice graphics and well made!
Hello Neat! Pretty cool game, I really liked that the upper part moved slower, it was realistic! I think I had some bugs and sometimes, when being whole body, I couldn't jump, but overall very nice product!
