Super fun!

Bro how did you have time to make all this? Fr this is sick! I think the only thing I’d want is a bit more animation, which is really just a time thing, so kudos for making such a complex style of game with really nice visuals in such short time!

I’ve seen a lot of these top down shooter style games, but none have had this many interesting mechanics nor as good visuals. This is an awesome game. Good job!

I like this game’s idea, but it is hard, and I am bad lol

This is a well polished game, but well, there’s a lot of this style of game, so I think I would’ve liked if there was a little more to really distinguish it from the others. But overall great job!

Cool idea. I like that you can control the dice roll amount, though it kinda takes away from it being a dice in a sense, but I guess having to wait to throw still provides a similar balancing effect, so nice job. I really liked how responsive the jump felt.

P.S. I got stuck inside a door and then fell into the void, literally inside the walls, so maybe you want to fix that lol. I think it’s if you have enough speed and hit a door near the top.

I really like the way that these puzzles work. The movement and board is like a lot of games this jam BUT y’all made it very different with the goal being completely different. Also the textures for the dice loaded weird so I could barely see the faces, so it gave me in particular an extra challenge haha

This is a really creative idea, but I wish I could’ve seen more easily what I was supposed to be setting the dice too. It took me a long time to figure out.

Really creative. I liked the theme, and I was glad to see a game that didn’t purely have D6 dice. I think the biggest criticism I have is just I wish there was a little more to the game in terms of powerups and abilities and things beyond just the explosive D20.

I’m curious as to why it takes so long to load? Do you know what the reason is?

This is a neat concept, but I find myself only succeeding when I happen to get the same dice roll in a row. It’s just a bit too based on your roll I think. I think adding some extra mechanics that add more control would help and adding a bit more of a ramp up on difficulty would help with the fun of the game. Overall pretty good though

The wall jumping has been a common complaint lol. It’s the first thing we’ve tried to fix for when we can update the files post-jam

I didn’t have controller issues on Proton, but I did have issues with full screen.

I also didn’t experience stamina issues, but that’s not a Proton issue; I see lots of comments about that

Thanks!

Yeah, it’s a little weird lol.

However, we felt that if you just fused with the animals or absorbed their powers, then you weren’t really “joining” with them. We were worried it would be too loose to fit the theme.

By actually taking their body parts, you’re joining those parts together with your body.

Thanks!

That’s kind of what we started going for as we kept scaling down the scope for the game jam.

Initially, my brother, the artist, was trying to mimic the art style of the cartoon Ok K.O., but it evolved a bit as we started running out of time (heck, I had to step over and do a handful of the art assets haha).

Also, all hidden gems are there and accounted for, though one is pretty well hidden

This game is relaxing to play. I like it

I’d love some feedback!

I’m actually releasing an update after the rating period for the jam ends. It fixes the screen switching, makes fullscreen the default, fixes the antibaby physics more or less, and makes the overall difficulty increase slightly slower :)

Great aesthetic and cool concept!

Also it runs well in wine so as a Linux user this makes me happy. I can’t play half the games from the jam :( (well, I could if I really wanted to put effort into it lol)

Great job!

I think your new one looks good

Mine’s at 2.08%. It’s #12 on popular as of posting and used to be as high as #3, so I guess that’s good?

It used to be around 1.22% last time I checked

I’ve actually just fixed the screen transitioning! I can’t update the download until the jam’s review ends on Friday

I’ve also made it so it disables clicking until the button is released when entering a new room

Get good, scrub. Lol just kidding

Yeah. I’m gonna tweak the difficulty increase just a bit after the rating period is over

I can give you a Linux binary too

Yo what a cool concept!

Really hard tho

In the discord they said their on their Twitch on Friday 12 PDT

Yeah I get that. I’m planning on increasing the force applied to a player when she enters a new room which will help that, among a handful of other changes. Obviously can’t do that until the jam is completely done :)

I don’t know. I guess they must have locked the rating to specific ‘judges’ or something for the Jam rating time :(

Me too

Thankfully it was my just Linux release (they’ll use Windows)

It was mine too! Congrats on getting something finished!

Click the ‘My Submission’ check mark:

screen help

If it shows up then, it’s there, you just missed it :)

If not then I’m sorry, my dude, something happened. Check the game page to make sure it counted as a submission

They talked about it when they announced the theme

It’s also on the overview page for the jam in the rules link

Short answer is no

I didn’t have fullscreen working, but I do now haha:

Please take a look! :)
