How does your game fit the theme?
You often hear about dice being weighted in order to cheat. However, what if you had to figure out who was cheating at a casino? This was the inspiration for our game.

The idea is interesting. It seems to me that there's nothing stopping the player from just waiting for a ridiculously long time to accuse cheaters that have been ahead for too long or have a suspiciously big lead. Some form of time limit and a more nuanced system for detecting cheaters could make the game a lot more engaging. But hey, there's potential here!
Scary stuff!
I like this game’s idea, but it is hard, and I am bad lol
This idea has potential! But I personally had a difficult time figuring it out, and once I did I didn't find it especially engaging. I like the music and the art quite a bit. I like the mix of fan art and refrences to pets or friends - especially the photo of the cat. Its a very cute cat. But there's only one tell, and one thing to pay attention to, which makes it too repetative for me. Facial cues or different ways of cheating with the dice could add a bit of depth.
The main thing I noticed with this game was scale issues regarding the artwork and UI. The start menu + high score thing on the title page are too small, and should maybe be moved to the left to eliminate the dead space underneath the title. I thought at the beginning that the dice rolls vs the added points wouldn't add up and that would be how to catch the cheater - but it's about weighted dice. I couldn't read the hint on the title screen since it was so small, so I didn't figure that out until i reread the blurb about how your game fits the theme.
"The innocent / guilty" text that shows up is also too small in my opinion. You could keep it a similar size and put it over the specific person being accused if you wanted to keep it that way (originally i thought this was the case, and was confused as to why I always ended up acusing the middle character) I also think the sprites themselves could be bigger, and the table they're playing on smaller. Since figuring out which character is lying / cheating is the focus, i think they should be bigger on the screen, even if the characters themselves are just static sprites. (and they're cute so why not make them easier to see?) Like I said before having facial / body language tells could also be cool - but time is limited.
The music, art and concept are charming! keep working on game making - you all can only get better :D
Pretty cool idea but having some more indicators for bluffing than just looking at the dice roll would make the game a lot more enjoyable.
I think the other comments say it all. Nice art, nice idea. If it just had one or two mechanics around suspicion or bluffing or something... Nice work
The art and sound are great, and its a good concept for the gameplay but it could've used some more depth because it gets boring pretty quick.
I love the game's art style
Nice art, peculiar gameplay, really hard to spot who the cheater is...
We have opposite games ! Yours is when you try to catch cheaters, ours is when you're the cheater !
I like the idea. However it always seemed to accuse the center player, no matter where I clicked.
Not sure how to catch the cheaters lol! Funny idea though
Pretty interesting concept but I just couldn't get into it personally.
The art is great, and the idea behind it is quite good. I feel like the gameplay could've been better executed, as it stands it isn't super interesting.
I didn't catch a single cheater but it kept me playing for a while, I'm just bad... I like the art and the wide cast of characters
I love the ideas on this one! And the art is pretty incredible. I'm also terrible at it though lmao.
