Great concept of moving the dice up and down, that gives flexibility in the systems and allows for choices to be made rather than just using the strongest attack you can. The presentation was awesome, the music and art great.

It took me a little bit to find the attack button and sometimes I wished I didn't have to move a dice so far up for it to go up. I also don't really know how to deal with getting constantly cursed.

Very good game, if you have time in the next 20 minutes please check out and rate my game

The visual and audio art is insanely good for a 48hrs game jam. The concept and game design is elaborate yet easy to learn. These guys are gonna go far!

Absolutely dripping with style on the visual and audio fronts. Some punchier animations and sounds for the combat would really gel well, but given the amount of time for the project I think this game stands well above most even on that front.  I like what I see so far and would definitely enjoy catching more of this aesthetic in the future.

It was, honestly, very surprising to see so few dice poker inspired games in the jam, and it's so cool this one does not only just that, but also introduces several really clever mechanics which transform the game into a stand-out experience of its own. All of the few problems this game has (like some balancing issues, lack of content and final polishing step) are due to the time limit and don't really take away from overall enjoyment.

Also there are a lot of roads you can go with this concept, can't wait to see what you might come up with. It would be fun if you could, for example, choose the effects of each combination strategically between levels from a pool, instead of just upgrading them, even lean more into the deck-building in the vein of Slay the Spire, which already is one of the inspirations, I think (correct me if I'm wrong).

And don't forget about presentation, it's fantastic! It must be my favorite from the 100+ I've seen, it just speaks to me the most on that raw personal level. I love the Tsutomu Nihei-esque art, I'm also a sucker for everything cyberpunk and cyberpunk-adjacent, and the music kills it too, always nice hearing something more rough than most of the games tend to use, it's a shame there's that loop bug.

I hope you keep working on this game and it will eventually become successful with a wider audience. Best of luck!

Thanks you for your comment, that REALLY means a lot. Reading reviews like that from people we don't even know in the internet really is heartwarming and really pushes us to keep looking forward to our game dev journey. If at some point in life we decide to continue that prototype and make it into a true roguelike deckbuilder, we'll definitely share a free game key with you.
Now it's my turn to play your game!

Impressive works! this kind of aesthetic and presentation is kinda my fav! I would like to see more of the animation attack if you continue making this game , I think it will bring out more juice to the game!

The use of rolling the dice is pretty straightforward, but combining is a bit tricky. I thought that it will auto combine without dragging it up. So, for a couple of rounds, I was confused about why it didn't combine. So auto combine is what I m suggesting.

Maan I like this game very much, wondering how far u made with this... :D

I love the aesthetics of this game although it was a struggle to understand what each thing meant. For example I was unsure about the difference between dice shapes and colours. I assumed it was like cards suits and colour.

Developer(+1)

thanks for the comment!

Dice shapes are used in combinations.

Dices color only matter at the end of your turn, a'd trigger a passive effect: red deal a damage to random enemy, blue heal you 1 and green gives you a reroll bonus at your turn start

Presentation is one of the best if not the best I have seen in this jam, amazing art that capture the tone of the game.

Music could be better tho.

Interesting game ideas but in the end of the day it took me too much time to understand how to play and in the end it wasn't that fun, balance should be tweaked, the game makes you play too defensive and battles drag.

With that in mind this game is oozing with creativity and may be one of the games I would like to see what 2 weeks or even a few months of work could take it to, which i personally can't say for most of the games here, my entry included

Thanks a lot for the review! I totally agree with what you say, the scope of the project wasn't reasonable for 2 days. I promise that, if we end up continuing it and make a complete and balanced game out of it, you'll be the first to receive a free key!

This is such a cool mechanic. A little more on the balance part is needed because getting into the game and figuring it out took some time for me. The tutorial is good but a little. The music awesome and apt. Would love to see a full version. Great Job.

Impressive work! I enjoyed the interactions with the colors and the passive effects sytem. The art direction is really nice, accompanied with great music and audio. You got a very solid result in a short amount of time.

Congratulations, great work!

Great game ! Mix between Slay the Spire and Yahtzee. If you have 15 minutes, try it ! It's worth it !
