How does your game fit the theme?
We interpret it as high risk high return situation, where cutting trees is high risk yet if we want to beat the monster we need to cut it. Another interpretation is probability and luck, so each time the player hit the tree, the dice will roll.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Yes

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

Unfortunately the 'how to play' button didn't work. The controls are easy enough to get but I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing. Some trees got cut down, some trees turned into gold???

Art looks good and didn't encounter any bugs besides that.

Developer

Thank youuuu!!

That's unfortunate ;) did you enjoy the game though?

Sure, I'll hope on and review your game.

I had my fun :)

Maybe in the beginning it took me a little to understand the rules

Developer(+1)

Yes, I understand. I think a little more context for the player would be nice. Sorry the how to play button is broken

I didnt get the purpose of dice but Art is really cute, well done !

Developer(+1)

The dice determine whether the tree will cut, turn super Saiyan, or as a clue if it's a monster or not.

Ho ok ! Thanks ! :)

I really really enjoyed this one actually! Thought it was a clever take on the theme - and of course the art and presentation is fantastic!

Developer

Thank you!!! glad you could enjoy the game. My take on the theme for other people is kinda hit or miss. Very difficult to deliver, but thanks again! :D

.:° Enjoyment °.:

I did not really enjoy to play the game.

.:° Creativity °:.

Hide & Seek while cutting down as less trees as possible? A creative touch on hide & seek actually.

.:° Presentation °:.

Although I didn't notice the music too well it was soothing. What I adore is the art-style and this is exactly what I personally am looking for in games. The artists touch to breathe in live. Very well made!

.:° Score °:.

1/3/5

Stay crunchy.

Yes, we just realize that many people don't enjoy our games because the purpose and the mechanics aren't quite clear for the player. This is a weakness that we are very aware of when we make the game. For us, the goal of making this game is to deliver a working game with our drawing style and as a trade-off for the lack of game mechanics.

We are very appreciative of the time and review you write for us. We will take this as an improvement for our next game. Thank you!

Great art, and congratulations on your first game!

Developer

Thank you for playing our game!!!

Developer

Thank youuuu, it's learning by doing, still a lot to learn but we very much love the process and we are very glad when people had fun playing our game,

nice art - couldnt quite understand the objective of the game, I think a bit more feedback for the player would have helped!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game. Sorry, what do you mean by feedback for the player? it wasn't very clear to us. Do you mind explaining a bit?

Developer

Submitted

Love the art style! The gameplay is a bit lacking but fun for the first time.

Developer

Thank youu for playing!! We will take a look into the gameplay for our next game! thanks for the suggestion :D

meh i didnt really know what you had to do because "how to play" button was broken

but other than that cool art :/

;)

Developer

Yes, it's sad. Because we didn't have this problem if it wasn't played on the browser and by our limited capabilities, we didn't know how and why this happened. We will look into it later as to why this is happening. Thanks though for the time to try our first game :D

Game a bit unclear and too random to be fully enjoyable.

The drawings are pretty nice in their own style, reminding on children’s books. That fits the “Little Red Hoodie” perfectly.

“How to Play” button in the menu seems broken.

Good job for a first submission, keep it up for next time!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing, we are still new to this creation of an enjoyable game! people have been so kind to the point where we could improve.

Very simple game with nice calming art and music. But I dont know how the dice works, besouse I just roll roll roll with random number in every similar tree annndd I saved 7 trees! but It's amazing job for your first jam!

Developer

Thank you!!! Yes, we are fully aware of the confusing dice works. the decision of using numbered dice because we want people to understand that the smaller the number, the greater risk it causes to the environment. yet, when implementation it wasn't very clear for the player and we discovered that the dice number was very random and doesn't work as intended.  So, it's kinda confusing for us too.

Nice chill game !
