Maaan! Cool story telling with a mix of typing game. I love how it seems absurd but it did convey something strong and cool! Love it!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Glad you love it!

I didnt expect to find a typing game in this jam, not sure how it relate to the theme other than the name of the family, but that beside the point hehe

Very fun & challenging, nice art too, I really enjoy my time with it. I am invested in Dice family now, wish all the best for papa Dice. Awesome job!

Solid idea! I had a fun time and I think the only other game I think I've seen do this kind of gameplay is The Textorcist. The music and art were both good as well.

Developer

Thank you for playing, glad you enjoy different aspect of it!

I love the combination of typing game and bullet-hell mechanics. The difficulty ramped up quickly, making for a fun challenge.

Thank you playing, glad you enjoy the challenge!

Although the theme is loosely fit here, I think this game is really good! It feels so responsive and a really good narrative - didn't expect my lack of typing skills to be tested here ;D. Well done, really cool game!

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you like it!

So great to see another narrative driven game! I really love your art and design and I found your story really interesting. The first two levels were quite easy in that I didn't actually move at all; just typed. But I think you guys have a really strong concept here and it's insane you got this done in 48 hours. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the praise and joyful to see you enjoy different aspect of the game. It's certainly tiresome to be done in 48 hours but I'm glad with the result!

The story was interesting, and the art looked great. I really liked the sound of the dice roll you used.

I didn't really get much out of having to both type and move a character around. For the first few levels I was able to type and not move the character at all, On the fourth level I couldn't type fast enough to shoot down the objects before they hit me, and having one hand on the arrow keys to dodge made it much harder to type. It might have helped to not have the typing objects one-shot you.

I had fun, great job!

I'm glad for both the praise and criticism as I do felt it is good and could be improved in many aspects. I do felt that the last stage require a bit of a challenge to make it interesting. Overall, I'm happy that you enjoy it and thanks for playing

Last level's canadian simulator, eh?

I admit I ended up just spamming all 4 buttons there :D And Yes, the last words punished me for it >:(

Developer

I was thinking Japanese but I also with Canadian. Thank you for playing and glad you complete the game even though it is rather punishing.

Developer

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea! But it is really hard to type and move and the same time. Good game!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing, It's a bit challenging at latter stage which is intended for complexity and the flow of the story.
