I very much enjoy the game. I love how everything blends together. My main complaints however are that the spikes hitboxes are too large and don't match their models. A bit more leeway and polish would have helped this game immensely.

seamless seams like more. (yes I just wasted a reply on a terrible pun)
Very clever concept. I sort of see how this fits the theme, and it IS a neat idea. Though I think there are some bugs when in fullscreen (no collisions?) And sometimes I could infinitely jump. (I think after hitting the ceiling you regain your jump, as if you were on ground.)
good game, maybe you can make little spikes in the base of the spikes to tell that this sides hurts too, in the last level i think that it was a platform XD
Man, this was probably the most unforgiving game I played during the jam, but I kept hammering at those levels because the concept is that good and I just had to see the next level. Great work.
You know the obvious feedback for improvement, (art, more juice, themed levels down the line, slightly easier difficulty curve!), but I also think it might be nice if there was a visual indication of where the overlap between boxes was occurring ... so think of like a Venn diagram where you know what part overlaps. I think this would look pretty awesome, but from a gameplay standpoint it would make some of the more frustrating parts (not difficult jumps, just odd timing because you didn't know where the overlap was) less frustrating.
What an excellent concept and I hope you keep building on this game as I'd love to play it again when you've had more time than 48 hours with it. Great work.
That is some amazing feedback thank you! An update is already in the works, but it is (probably unsurprisingly) becoming a lot more difficult than imagined to get it all working with tighter controls. The lines around the boxed could be an interesting idea, although it would go against the name seamless a bit aha. I will try it all out!
Thank you for the support!
Nice game. Pretty polished, challanging and simple. Almost everything from level design, mechanics and overall atmosphere does this game well. The last level was little bit harder, but after few atempts I managed to complete it. Maybe the art was too simple, but it's game jam game, so it isn't even a problem.
this is a beautiful game. very well made, although I struggled on the fourth level (but I am not very smart). 10/10 IGN
That was great! My time was 237:25 for the clear. Clever use of the theme and mechanic worked really well. Challenging, but not too punishing!
Amazing game. The aesthetics are great and the core mechanic seems like a great technical accomplishment.
Loved the mechanics, art looks good but its very basic. Nevertheless, great job!
The aesthetics of the game are very nice. The gameplay is nice but if felt a bit floaty and unfair sometimes. With a bit of polishing you can have a very great game.
Awesome game, so minimal, but everything is done so well. I think this is the 4th game I gave 5/5 all around to. I really appreciate how much polish and gameplay you were able to create out of your idea and the game's aesthetic.
I love how you have to build a mental map of the world as you run through it! This will be a featured game in the GMTK 2021 video, I'm calling it now!
TIL I'm not good at platformers haha
One thought is that it could have been a little more forgiving if bumping into the flat side of spikes was less lethal. But the difficulty might be fine where it is because it looks like you've got a couple speed-run competitors playing.
Super neat game! I actually found it through your YouTube channel! I love the concept of the moving areas linking together to allow you to continue! It was a little tricky, but it was still super fun! Hope to see more!
