This is an amazing and well fleshed out game for 48 hours (and just in general)! I hadn't realized the voting period was ending, I'm sorry I missed playing this in time, but I love this and think it could totally make a really natural progression to the Switch or something and be a huge hit. Fun, adorable, great ambiance, look and humor!

So much personality in this game! Love the idea and level design. I wish I had a dash button or something to move a bit faster because falling at the wrong place felt a bit frustrating to have to walk back. Other than that this was great!

The art and music are cool! Hope you had fun with unreal engine :) Feel free to check out our game 🙏

I liked it! Very satisfying to watch 8 people jump over the same gap in rapid succession, only for the 9th one to miss the ledge and fall in

Developer(+2)

It kind of reminds me of telephone - the more people in your chain the less effective your message back is. I did have a solution thought out to improve the jumping, but it would have taken too much time and ended being out of scope. I was very tempted to waste a few hours on it, but there would have been a lot less game.

I don't think it's a bad thing. It's just like any other "physics based puzzle game" ;)

Killer moving platforms by the way!

Lol I love these voice lines! Cracked me up. This reminds me of saving the hostages in counter strike except it's a full game. Nice work!

Haha, thanks! I was just recording random stuff for like 30 minutes

Love the art and music, game is a bit laggy and I'm not too bit of a fan of the motion blur

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I noticed that unreal messes up on the motion blur when there is lag too, hopefully next time I'll know how to setup some graphics settings for a game jam :)

Oh, this was super fun, and the art style is also very neat! Well done!!!

This game was super fun and very entertaining! It was a little bit laggy, though. The character designs were great!

Developer

Oh no! Sorry about that, it was only tested on two PCs and seemed to run well. Definitely lots for me to learn about generating unreal builds in the future.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! This was my first game project and I'm still learning Blender and animation in general

Enjoyed the game and the art style. fair warning the game started Steam VR. it looks like you left the VR plugin active in unreal when you packaged it.

Developer(+2)

Oh interesting! Didn't even know that was a thing. Thanks for letting me know, my first time exporting anything in unreal :)

This was my first time using Unreal Engine for a game jam and spooderdooder's first game jam!

Everything in the game was made during the game jam!

Just an FYI, there was a glitch with itch and we had to reupload the file a couple minutes after the deadline, but it was complete and uploaded before the deadline with no changes (edit date is in the submission window)

edit: Turns out there was an extra 30 minute grace period for fixing bugs anyways!

This is the best game I've ever worked on
