This is one of my favourite games of the jam! The colours are so so vibrant and nice, and the seamless moving level mechanic is so clever and well thought. It looks amazing, plays amazing, also the respawn animation is so so fluid. Incredible, thank you so much for sharing this!

That comment has made my day, absolutely wonderful I am so glad you enjoyed it :D

Nice game, is simple yet elegant, though I would have appreciated a tutorial in-game. The levels sometimes have needlesly tight jumps, but it never got frustating, so I had great fun overall!

It's a cool little prototype with a neat concept. Really dig the idea of joining rooms by color. Of course some more polish and better controls would have been great but the jam also only lasted 48 hours. Also you should be careful with killing the player in the first seconds of a level. Overall nice job!

Great work BLANKdev, loved the mechanic of the moving sections within the level. Sort of like Celeste mixed with a puzzle platformer. Below was my time.

the games i make are mostly celeste type or puzzle games and i did the level design so you can see where you get that from, thank you for the nice comment

Excellent simple gameplay and awesome level design. Only thing missing would be someone telling me I had 3 jumps, I just figured out in the last level.

I like the simple art style, and your interpretation that fits the theme :)

Nice mechanic like every one says but very hard to play so it reduces then fun in the game

Everybody won't be a Epic gamer so reduce the difficulty by cleaver game designing

Hope my feedback helps ;)

Very cool concept!
I love the basic design and contrast in the terrain.

Although I did find two minor bugs:
1. The ground detection to restore jumps is a little off while in the moving space
2. You go in the wall if you get half way crushed between a static platform and a moving space

Of course bugs are expected in a game jam

Overall a great game that is highly polished and minimal

I love this mechanic, it's really creative and well executed.

Hey. Some feedback:

Even though the deathSFX does not fit the game, the transition screen is very nice, so good on you fellas!

I wish there'd be a way to restart the level automatically, as sometimes I need to wait a bit before each attempt. Also, specifically on the first 2 levels ( and ) maybe make the squares spawn closer to the player?

I wish you'd tell me on a better way that I can wall-jump.

The fact that on the last level there were platforms that deactivated after being on them for a couple of seconds annoyed me, as you did not use that mechanic before.

i did the level design
some problems were just in the basic coding of the mechanics. and the disappearing platforms were used before the last levels (level 7) they were used in every level since level 5. but thank you for the feedback

Submitted

Wel,l but I don't believe I was forced to use them, so I did not even notice. Was I forced to use them?

Really fun game, look nice and the moving boundaries. I don't really see how it fits the theme though.

Developer

We interpretated the theme as the platforms joining together to allow you to move. Glad you enjoyed the game though!

yeah that makes sense

Great concept. The color palette was borderline eye candy, so good job on that! The actual seam mechanic was creative, but it feels like it has wasted potential. 4.5/5

Developer

if you ever think up some new ways this mechanic could be used I would love to hear them :) I really do think it has huge potential!

Thanks for the feedback!

Clever, pretty, easy to pick up, little bit devious towards the end there. Great job.

Developer

That is some fine praise, really appreciate it!

This was a great entry honestly, was not expecting to see this mechanic pop up, very original and unique. The two colour look gives a really smooth feel to the game. Good job.

Developer

I really appreciate that! This mechanic doesn't come without its drawbacks, but it was so different from anything I had done before I loved it :D
