I love the art of the robots. I think there is a little too small of a margin for error, as I was having a very hard time right away without out any nice difficulty curve.

Really well executed concept! There was a bit of weirdness that occasionally happened with physics and a few times the buddy bot was just not letting go of corners. However, I really enjoyed this game and the issues didn't arise all that often.

I feel with a bit more polish ( perhaps using more rounded edge colliders for smoother movement on the bot with the environment ) and parallax in the backgrounds as well as more content, this could release as a great full, but bite-sized, puzzler! There's some fun things to explore in here that you've already started on and I'd love to see it carried on post-jam :)

Good job!

Nice one, our team is a puzzle game with robots too haha

Good job! Please check out my game, which is also a puzzle with a robot! :)

Tough but very clever! Love seeing this much mileage and complexity coming from simple mechanics. Great job!

There is some good puzzle design in this game ! and the art is nice

Very cute game, I wish the movement of the smaller robot was a bit more predictable as I occasionally struggled with getting the little dude to move where I wanted him to.

its a wonderful game but it is a bit hard

The concept of having 2 characters bound by something is not the most original, but this game does add some originality with tiles only one character can pass through and by making one of the characters not directly controllable. The lack of music feels very noticeable, music could have really helped with the atmosphere that the cute art sets up. Some parts of the game are not taught that well, but once you understand the game it's puzzle are quite fun. Overall this was a pretty fun little game with some cute art.

Developer

I really wanted to add music but the time really got to me.
In a post jam version I will defiantly have some sort of tutorial to ease in the different puzzle elements.
Thanks for your feedback!

Hey @Lastered interesting concept I think there should be a little more friction on the robot but overall nice job my friend :D

Nice concept! Good graphics and alright sound effects. Your levels were well-designed, too - there was a good amount of iterations on the different mechanics. Sometimes the little robot got stuck on nothing, particularly in those corner areas. Repeated jumping helped get him out of those spots though.

Developer

Thank you for the review!
Due to the time limit getting to me I couldn't add a proper in-game tutorial.
The reason the small robot got stuck is because the big robot was touching the blue spotted tile, that disables the small robots movement.

Ah, okay.

The art is really cute, only comment I can really make on it is it would be nice if there was slightly bigger contrast between foreground and background so your characters pop out more.

Gameplay was mostly intuitive besides that I sometimes didn't understand why the robot did or didn't follow me. Some of the puzzles were awesome en really well designed.

Really well done!

Nice game! I really liked the sounds and the art is also great! My only complaint is I have a little difficulty trying to get the robot into the precise area that I want to get it into, but I think the game is good for what it is now!

The art is nice and cute, and the idea is nice! The collider of the big robot was a bit weird, and it would be nice if the instructions were explained in-game but overall I really liked it!

Very Enjoyable! The level designs and art style are super nice! Interesting idea as well. For constructive feedback, I'd say the robot sometimes gets stuck on items, but for a 48 hour game jam it's great!

Cool idea - looks pretty beautiful too :)

Think I could have done with a few more easier levels at the start, was a bit punishing for the likes of me!

Very fun game! I cheesed the last puzzle!
