How does your game fit the theme?
Every move you make in the dungeon crawl fuels an Out of Control fire which follows your every step
Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Cool idea! I definitely finished wanted more which is a great sign. Sound could use some variation as hearing the same exact effect repeat could be grating. I would love to see more levels after the jam is over
A good prototype ! the art is very nice. It has potential, you should do an iteration if you have the time.
Fire spreading mechanic is super cool! And the way the moving stone blocks the fire spread is making the puzzle super interesting!
Wow, I really liked this idea, and you managed to put it good use with your level design. I wish you had time to make some more levels because I am hungry for more! I noticed some layering issues with some sprites, but otherwise the presentation is great!
Neat concept, sadly a bit lacking in content!
The combination of turn-based puzzling plus real-time obstacles felt very out of place to me - it would be more interesting if the puzzles also moved with time, since the real time "puzzles" were mainly just waiting for them to be in the right place, rather than me having to think ahead about where I want them.
Well done, though, especially for a first jam! Also really happy to see a volume slider, since the game was too loud for me. I feel the wildfire also adheres to the theme really well! I would've liked to see a bit more creative level design with tunnels and maybe more things that interacted with fire - but I understand time constraints are what they are, especially when you're figuring stuff out in a first time jam.
The web player defaulted to a much to small size to see the game, by the way - I had to fullscreen to see the game. Might be some setting you have to adjust.
Thanks! Fair enough, in a post-jam version ill probably add turn based puzzles too. I wanted there to be a mix of real and turnbased but the execution isnt the best :'D
Yea tunnels and burnable objects were ideas just had no time :(
Yea its because the games native size is only 320x180 and itch uses it bu the game resizes using the thing in the bottom right.
Nice mix of puzzling as well as real time obstacles. Quite short but one of my favourite games!
Fun little game, just a shame it was so short. Keep up the good work 馃憤
A few more levels and this game would have been my jam favourite! :'(((
Awesome Game Dude!
It's a shame that there were so few levels cause the gimmick s quite nice. Maybe try and make levels that exploit the puzzle aspect more, because right now there are quite a few routes that work. Could add some extra mechanics like water hoses as well to walk back on your track or smth. Definitely some postjam expansion material here. It fits the theme decently enough
All I could think was "give me more levels!"
Also, I think it would be super helpful to have a preview of what tiles are going to catch fire next, maybe with a fire glow effect. I know this used some kind of flood algorithm but it was still a little difficult to predict where the fire would be next while also dodging big stones. Overall very nice little game!
Definitely a lot of potential! I like how you combined real time elements with turn based elements, that was a lot of fun. I wish I could just hold down an arrow to move from tile to tile quicker. I loved the fire animation that played.
I think there's a lot of potential here with an interesting concept and some nice visuals! My only criticism really is that the real-time obstacles don't interact well with the turn-based movement and fire spreading. I can always stop and take my time as the fire won't catch up. To fix this, I think the obstacles should be turn based too, and would allow more interesting puzzle design. (Alternatively, real-time fire spread would work too and make the game more intense --- so the fire spreads behind the player and ticks into neighbouring cells every second, for example.).
I was looking forward to playing more levels when I finished, which is a great sign. Nice work!
Not bad! The clicking got a little annoying the longer I played, but I really enjoyed the concept! The difficulty ramped up fast!
Short and polished with a creative concept to boot—what's not to love? The fire sfx got a bit loud once it started to fill the room (maybe that was just me), but otherwise, great job.
Loved the concept, although after a few moments, I never really felt like I was in danger, but with more time to iteratre on puzzle design, this could be fire.
Nice short and sweet puzzler, I feel like this concept could go to a lot of places in a longer game. I enjoyed it a lot!
