How does your game fit the theme?
Normally the developer has control over the speed, but in this game the player chooses the speed by getting warmer. The rock moves faster when it's warm, although if the rock is too warm it will be so fast that it's uncontrollable, and eventually explode.

The game has a very original and interesting concept. I loved the tutorial at the beginning, because after reading the description I was like "then I'll just try to avoid them as much as I can." But then I realized I need to become faster sometimes and I was like "Oh, I see, that's cool."

One thing I would change is the speed. I understand it was the main purpose of the game, but it becomes uncontrollable way too fast. Just getting upwards is super challenging. I get it that you had 48 hours, and you made a great job for such a short period. I'm just saying for the future that it is too unbalanced sometimes. But overall, I liked the chilling music, the gameplay and visuals

P.s. the face of the rock, though. It sells the game ahahah

Love the main concept of the game, can see how you can lose control! But maybe make that upward climb a little bit easier. I could not control myself when i got to there! :)

cool graphics!  frustrating but fun!

Really like the idea, but it was more frustration than fun for me. Making it a little easier from the beginning would help a lot. Nevertheles, great job! :)

Challenging game. I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I really liked the game! Buit like I said on stream, maybe start a little more easy! :)

At first I was confused, because there was no tutorial in-game. Then after I got the hang of it, it fell pretty nice dashing through the level, until I had to climb the rock platforms, which damn wasn't easy and didn't feel fun. I think if the controls were a bit different, the game would've been better. Other than that, good job!

love the hot vs power mechanic. Though I couldnt personally do the jumping timing at all to get up the platfomrs xD the mechanic was well thought of though, excellent entry for the jam, great job!

Developer

Thanks!

I was surprised how quickly I got used to the movement of the rock, nice job those settings!

I also like how sharp all the visuals were, made the game have a really crisp feel to it.

Developer

Thanks a lot! :D

Like the controls and the concept, difficulty spikes real hard tho

Developer

Thanks, yeah probably shouldn't have made it that difficult

I liked it, the idea is nice. The music is a bit slow tho. A bit frustrating too, sadly. I usually avoid games where you can't control your player well, yet in this one the player was nice, but the environment was designed for pros at its player control, making it quite a hard way up.

Developer

thanks for the feedback

I really enjoyed the idea. Though that first climb was very frustrating.

Developer

Thanks, yeah I should probably have made it a bit easier
