Such a cool game, the art and presentation really make it stand out. Great work!
Thanks. I am so happy right now, because I know about you for some time through youtube. So it is a pleasure to me, that you have played my game and leaved your comment.
I like the art and I think that the idea of hallucination levels that you need to solve while other stuff is happening in the "real" level is quite nice. The jumps are a bit difficult to pull off, jumping while walking in a direction would have made it far more playable already!
Fantastic art
Kind of spooky retro mix with the visuals + rising acid. I enjoyed exploring your game! The jumping was a bit difficult and made me feel a bit robbed sometimes. Felt like I had to jump really early or I'd fall.
Thanks for your comment, yeah the jumping has little bug, some frames it doesn't register key input. The amount of this kind of frames is small, but they are still there.
This is a very interesting take on the theme! Like the art style and can see this expanding into a more fully featured game but this is very cool. Don't think I've played another game about hallucinations so far in the jam. Maybe a bit more could happen to the player whilst he has hallucinations? But, great job and great thinking!
Thanks for comment. I haven't planed making fully game, but I will think about it. I have in mind idea, that in the end player will will find out, that it was all one big hallucination and nothing wasn't real, but I don't have time to make it to the "story". So maybe I will continue...
Great game! The visual effect on the hallucination parts makes a nice distinction. You managed to make a very creepy athmosphere, even being a 1bit game. Nice job!
I am glad you liked it. Thank you for your comment.
Very unique game idea, overall presentation was good as well. The jumping is somewhat awkward at first however.
Really cool game, but there was one major problem, jumping felt kinda weird, seemed like sometimes my jump won't register, which is a pretty big deal for a platformer, maybe that's cause because you put your jumping script in fixed update instead of just update?
Yes, you're right I use fixed update. Thanks so much for info.
This game makes me go YES!
Oh yeees
love the contrast between the player and hallucination jumps. great idea with the theme!
Loved the game, the atmosphere is very great as soon as the game start.
I really liked the controls, the fact to you need to crouch before jumping is an nice detail. I really felt the sentiment of emergency when I was suck in hallucination and the acid started to rise ! Very well done 👏
Thanks so mutch. Before I was making this game I was thinking, if this would be my last game or not, but your comments give me energy and motivation to continue creating games.
The hallucinations are hard! I stopped at the hallucination when you have to walk slowly from left to right surrounded by two slow-moving spikes. The shaking camera made me a bit sick, I must admit.
Anyway, you really succeeded at creating an atmosphere, especially with the sound design.
Thanks a lot.
The hallucination you were stuck is kinda annoying, maybe if the spikes were faster, but now is too late to change it. For that camera shake, when I made it, it was 4 times stronger and I couldn't play more than 2 minutes. But as I see now I should descreased it even more.
But I am happy, you played my game, enjoyed at least a bit of it and leave your comment.
Yes, my comment was a bit harsh but I really enjoyed the game :)
That is fine, when I only get the positive comments and no one will write about the stuff, that was bad, I wouldn't know about that bad things, so I won't improve my games in the future.
Like the concept, hard to control =).
Thanks for your comment and playing my game. I wanted to make the movement of that sick guy quite slow and sick too, but maybe I do it litle bit to mutch.
