How does your game fit the theme?
Before you enter the ship you must aim well, as when you are in there you have almost no control. Meaning pre-planning is key, the more you move outside the ship the harder it becomes to aim: you must find a balance between almost no control or hard to control in your goal of keeping yourself and the ship alive...

Really difficult but but I totally got addicted...

Developer

Thanks for playing! Difficulty is definitely on the upper end of the spectrum (not sure if that’s a good thing)! Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Wow this is hard to control but the concept is amazing! Also, well done for the art and music, it fits perfectly!

I found it very hard to control, but I really like the concept. The presentation was also perfect for the mechanice. Nice!

Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! Some people have mentioned about indoor movement being hard to control, I think maybe a few more exits would have been good in the ship... Glad you liked the overall presentation!

This is very fun! The idea is great and it is executed well. The music is really good. The graphics are also very good, but it could be more clear at the beginning which part is inside and which part is outside of the ship. The tools are designed really well!

What is the guy's name? Major Tom?

Keep up the good work. Could you check my game out as well?

Developer(+1)

Thanks you very much for the feedback! I agree that it could have been made clearer, and yes he is called Major Tom and that’s one of the reasons we named the game what it is XD. Thanks for taking the time to play!

It was quite fun, and also quite hard. The art is quite cool but It lagged a bit sometimes and one time shot out of the screen but the lag might have been my computer. It's a cool idea but I think the player should have some control in the ship, maybe they could  tweak their angle while moving? I don't know it's your game so you know whats best but I think it would be good if the player could have a bit more control otherwise they might bounce around inside for ages without getting out or going near one of the objects, but I do think it's a really cool idea and making the player plan ahead works quite well. Really great game overall good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, the bounce thing could go on for a bit, we tried to combat this by if you press space when in the ship it propels you up so the player could time this when ye is going past an exit. Changing angle is a good idea, thanks for the suggestion! Thanks for taking the time to play!

The retro design and unique mechanics are great. The indoor movement got to a high speed and shoot me too far into space  (outside the screen limits) and I didn't manage to get him back in time. Enjoyed playing it, good job!

Great minds thinks a like so come check out my game :)

Thanks for the feedback! The more you press space the faster you go so you have to try and use it as little as possible, but we should have set a max speed to avoid going off of the screen! Thanks for taking the time to play!

Developer

Nice name of the game XD

Nice, simple game, wish you had at least some control while inside. The tutorial didn't quite explain enough, I think it needed pictures

Developer(+1)

Thanks you for playing our game on stream, sorry I couldn’t be there at the time but I have gone back and watched it. I agree some pictures would have helped! It was really good seeing you playing it and your reaction! Thanks again!

It took me a while to figure out how the controls work but then it was really fun. It's not clear how much problems the ship can take before it's game over. I also didn't notice the oxygen and boost bars at first. But other than the art is cool and I had fun playing it :D

Developer

Hi, thanks you for playing. The problems are indicated in the gauge in the bottom left, hope this helps if you want to play again. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm not sure if I completely understand the indoor movement, but otherwise it was a pretty fun and really nice looking game!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Hi, thank you for taking the time to play! So when you are inside you can't control yourself, its all about your entrance, the only bit of control you do have is if you  press space you add an upward force! Hopefully this helps and glad you liked the art style! Would be very much appreciated if you could re rate after having this tip! Thanks for the feedback, and thanks again for playing!

Wow, very impressive! I love the whole art style of it with the flickering when you hit a wall etc. like an old TV.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback a lot! I’m the artist of this game and hearing things about liking my art means a lot, thank you! I will leave some feedback about your game too if you don’t mind >3

Really fun, original, and hard to control. (which is a good thing)

Cheers

Thank you sooo much for the feedback, we really tried to take the control from character, appreciate you mentioned that. I’ll make sure to check your game
