Came to the comments to see if anyone had posted a translation of the end cutscene, because I didn't feel like decoding it by hand... doesn't seem to be. Maybe I'll have to go write one.
Check the game page. It has the encoded messages already. And thanks for playing!
It's a finished game. good art, nice puzzles and interesting narrative ! I have nothing to had.. just put it on steam already ? XD
Haha!
One of the best puzzles I played in the jam! Art is very good, and I love the dialogues. You have to really think to make it through all the puzzles. The character is so cute and funny, it makes you root for him! Great game, would love to play more levels!
Thanks for the feedback and for playing :)
Clever puzzle design, and a fun little story (though I didn't see the ending, cuz I couldn't get past all the puzzles). There's just a few small things (sfx, backgrounds, etc) that would have pushed this to its full potential. All in all, I like it!
Thanks for the feedback!
I've been getting mixed feedback on the puzzles. Some say easy and some say hard. Sadly for my aesthetic choices to make sense, you'd have to finish the game. I should probably work on having the game pull people in better.
Great concept and clever ending. The art and crt effect were nice as well. Though, some more sfx's would be great; like moving, doors opening, robots entering/exiting range.
I found most of the puzzle to be quite difficult, but I somehow manage to beat it. I think most of the puzzle mechanics could have been introduced better to make it less difficult. Like the blocking of doors for example. Why not have a level with a d'elian stuck in a doorway to show that this is possible, instead of throwing players into the deep end. There even is a level doing this after the mechanic was already needed to solve a puzzle.
A quarter in I accidentally reloaded the page, only to discover that there was no progress saving. On replaying the older levels they were a lot easier, because I knew what I was doing. Even though I had forgotten some of the solutions.
Tihs puzzle is perfect, I had to play it all! You came up with very clever rooms, in that short time. Also, the character is adorable, and when I translated the ending... Its so heartbreaking :( 5 stars, make more of it!
Also I tought you would be controled in the next puzzles when it ended, I would love to see that aproach if it get expanded.
Yeah I hate that it ended at a cliff-hanger too :)
Awesome game! Even without any text it would have worked well, but the story added so much! I really enjoyed it and the character designs are adorable!
Too simple, too clever. No feedback. You just don't deserve it.
Answer to the question in game: Yes. I want more.
No, for real, I have nothing to complain, this couldn't be done better. Well done!
Nice idea and execution. The story was unexpected from a jam game but welcome.
Clever and nice presentation, love the minimalistic sound design, good job!
Amazing entry !
The design of the puzzle is great and the different mechanics are clearly introduced (:
The character is cute, and the simple yet mysterious story makes you want to continue ^^
Great job !
Thanks for the feedback :)
This was a lot of fun to play through, plenty of interesting levels and challenges throughout, and each new mechanic is introduced very well to the player.
Really great work, glad to have played!
Thanks for playing!
Just dripping with style and polish - really impressive for a game jam. The story was cute and I liked how it was used to explain the mechanics. Puzzle levels were interesting and well designed. Well done!
Thanks for playing!
Nice mechanic! I would've liked a bit more music, and I accidentally skipped through most of the dialogue because it lets you skip it even if the sentence isn't finished. But I liked the presentation and the story bits!
I got that feedback a lot. I think that problem kinda ruins the game. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
I like the way the main mechanic came into play in the narrative towards the end. Maybe he should have been kinder to all those dumb sam bots huh?
Haha! Thansk for playing!
Loved the puzzles, very good game, level design could use a bit more work, everything feels “empty”, but the puzzle design is good!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I think I intentionally made it feel empty for the narrative. Sad it didn't work like I hoped :/
It’s always a matter of taste, but there may be a middleground you can try to strive for, keep up the good work!
I really loved this game! I'd love to play a full length version of it ( :
Well presented and the level design is really good.
Good job ^^
I love the implementation of theme, simple puzzle also the pixel art is great
This is a great puzzle game, it is a fresh take on an old puzzle game (I don't remember the game where you have multiple copies move at the same time). But the radius added a fresh take on it :) Great game :)
Glad you liked it!
