Had a lot of fun playing! I like the idea of limiting the amount of jumps that the player can do! Maybe some more obstacles on earlier levels would have been good, but other than that: Overall, this is a great jam entry!

Thanks for playing!

I wish i was able to skip the animation at the start of a level but other than that great game!

Developer

Thanks! I agree, that's the first thing I would have added if I had just another hour. Thanks for the feedback, your game was very fun too!

That's such a fun concept! The game is good too, to go with it. Surprisingly hard at times.

The theme didn't affect the game design much but the story about the out of control ferris wheel is fun.

Gotta say I wasn't a big fan of the music, but I thought the graphics were pretty charming.

Yay I beat it! Yeah that was really good. Only wish the restart time was shorter.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm glad you liked it. I ran out of time to playtest so the difficulty is a bit weird.

Why weren't you a fan of the music?

Idk it was kind of wonky. Don't take it too seriously, I'm not a music critic.

Ok thanks

Hi! Cool idea. I feel like you could teach the player what's going on better (barring outside instructions, which I haven't been reading as I go through everyone's games). Once I figured out how to play,  I was excited by the concept, but then my ferris wheel got stuck and the level wouldn't restart (in the 3rd level). I'll come back to this one later - but definitely try and polish this game more once the jam is over, because I like the idea.

Developer

Sorry I couldn't add instructions ingame. You can press R to restart the level if I didn't somehow break it last-minute.

Thanks for your feedback!

Damn that last level is tough. Nice concept and drawn collision are good bu smoother curves would help the game feel like this android tiny bird. Also, I'm not certain of how the starting momentum of a level is decided, sometimes I go higher other times lower with more speed. Keep up the good work ^^

Yeah, I tried to playtest each level with my brother but I accidentally implemented level locking too early. So every single time I wanted to try level 5 I'd have to go through every other level. (And being terrible at games I usually couldn't get past 3 or 4.) So I never was able to beat level 5. I'm not sure if it's even possible. Each jump goes at a random angle between 20 and 49 degrees (with 0 being directly upwards).

I tried during the jam to learn how to use Unity's sprite shape feature so I could use smooth curves, but I couldn't figure them out, so I ended up going with different-angled blocks.

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback!

Neat game, I like the concept.

Interesting Idea, could use some work visually

Developer

Agreed. This was my first time drawing pretty much all of my assets freehand. (Except for the ferris wheel which I used a circle-making tool for). I'm sure I'll get better at drawing with time
